It is great news - for the Democrats. Thanks to men like the good Sheriff, more Latino votes went to the Democrats than in 2008, and fewer to the Republicans. Arpaio might have been one of those unrecognized factors that gave the victory to President Obama. Maybe Barack should send him a thank-you card.

It has nothing to do with them wanting to skim more money from us and keep more money for themselves, nothing at all. Those brave wealthy individuals and the corporations they run truly do care about America first, and that's why they voted for the Republican party. Those patriots, those selfless men and women of true character and altruism, didn't vote with their personal bank accounts, stock options, and income tax returns on their minds, they only wanted to better America. Try having a real argument, they tend to work better.

There's two parts of the Phoenix metro area that carried the day for Arpaio, Sun City and Scottsdale/Paradise Valley. And you just never know if the old duffers are going to be around for the next election. I certainly hope there are not (gasp!) Mexicans living in those houses.
