Mitt is a globalist tool used to fool Mormons. Wouldn't trust him.

Romney is the same age as Trump (one year younger technically but big deal), and is running to be a Senator. He will work with Trump when he wants to, and fight him when he doesn't. He's a Mormon running in Utah as a Republican. Romney will be able to do what he wants.

As far as 2020 goes, he wouldn't challenge Trump in 2016, why would he in 2020? Romney seems to be happy simply to be a Senator.

For someone to challenge Trump they'd first need to be younger, and second would need a real reason to challenge him from the right. Romney isn't either of those things.

Although I can see a third party/independent running in 2020, but I don't see it being a sitting Senator. A Governor maybe, but even then it'd largely be a quixotic quest. I don't see any politician alive today who'd have the skill to run as a third party and win.

Romney governs influenced by a business model.

That may make him most compatible with Trump.

It has less to do with governing style, so much as it does simple partisan reality. Trump governs like the host of a reality tv show, not as a fortune 500 CEO. Why will Romney work with Trump more then not? They are in the same party following similar policy goals. It's as simple as that.

Romney, like Trump crossed from a business man to politics.
Not from a young Swamp Rat to an older Swamp Rat.
Although their style is different, their foundation may be most similar
creating a political unity between them. It is up to Romney.

Their political unity comes from the fact that they are both Republicans. Romney isn't going to go off the Republican line just to spit Trump. He will have disagreements with him about certain issues I'm sure, such as tariffs, but those issues are largely disagreements within the GOP itself.

Now if Trump breaks the law or something, and we are talking about impeachment that'd be another story. Still their "union", if you can call it that, is strictly partisan in nature.
