Lol, a nation where women don't have the same rights as men, is the definition of misogynist. Women have to have males escort them! KSA is one of the biggest human rights violators in the world.

Tommy .. why don't you read up on Yemen and what is happening there.

Yemen is an impoverished failed state suffering famine and drought even though KSA and the GCC have been propping Yemen up for many decades.. Now it is home to Al Qaeda, al Houthis, al Shaabab, Boko Haram and assorted Somali pirates.

The al Houthis overthrew the government and they are a minority funded and controlled by Iran..

Do you think its a good idea for Iran to control the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea?

Actually they announced this week that the law in KSA is changing ............

OMG OMG! Women are going to be able to walk around by themselves???? How nice of KSA to allow a woman to walk somewhere without a male! This is groundbreaking!!!! This changes everything!!!!!

    LOL!

And men don't have the same rights as women. I wonder why Westerners are only concerned about women when it comes to these issues. It must have something to do with the dominance of feminism in the West.

Men escort women in order to ensure safety and dignity of the latter.

Yeah, that's not what I described. Also, notice I said Kucinich or Sanders.

In China people get to vote, but they only get to vote between choices given to them by the Communist party. So the party leadership decides the two candidates you can vote for, and they're nearly identical. That's pretty much how it works in Iran, too.

At least in the KSA they don't feign for appearances.

You're right. Men don't have the same rights. They have many, many, many more rights than women.

Women have less rights in every category in the misogynist nation of KSA:

This is one of the sickest abuses

And the list goes on, and on, and on. Saudi Arabia treats women like property. Like slaves.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women's_rights_in_Saudi_Arabia#Economic_rights

I cited only a fraction of their lack of rights. Feel free to read the rest.

Most families ignore the mahram stuff and as of this week KSA has announced it is antiquated.

You just have a lot of prejudice against a country that you know very little about.

I cited actual laws. You are making CLAIMS. Once you produce actual evidence that women DO have all of these freedoms you CLAIM, then we'll believe you.

You act as if Saudi Arabian women really give a damn. They are driven around in chauffers, lol.

And America allows their women to perform debauched acts on video for all the world to see. They work crappy minimum wage jobs, while Saudi Arabian women live in luxury.

At least you are admitting KSA has the misogynist laws. Because now you've been cornered, and you're claiming the KSA women "don't give a damn". LOL. I love the arguments of the brainwashed religious.

    Nope.

No, you readily assume that these laws are misogynistic, and that they are based on ill-feeling towards women. You have provided no evidence to show how you are correct.

I love the arguments of the average Westerner.

Please provide me with the definition of "misogynist". If you cannot perform this simple task, I'd be happy to do it for you.

Meanwhile, please provide sources that counter the LAWS I cited. Or continue to lie. Your choice.

Oh, so because they pretend like they're on opposing teams, that's supposed to make the elections real? Yeah, I noticed that both of your examples were Democrats. That doesn't matter. I'm sure China's Communist party has different factions, too. Just like the Republicrats do.

Do you know a single Saudi woman? Have you ever been in her home or eaten her food or discussed her business with her? I think you have VERY limited experience.

Now please show how these laws are based on mysogynism. You have yet to do so.

Continue to lie about what, exactly? Could it be about you failing to prove how these laws are based on mysogynism? Because that's true.

Yeah, the thing is people can actually vote for who they want regardless of who the parties choose here. Ever heard of the Green Party, Reform Party, or Libertarian party? There is no third party voting in those countries. Here, we just don't do it much because our two parties are already coalitions like they have in European governments, the only real difference being that we form the coalitions prior to elections, not after.

Why, exactly, did they mention homosexuality?

They're only a few thousand years behind the rest of the world.

Women are prefectly capable of ensuring their own safety and dignity. The only problem is that Islam decries autonomy for women.

    How does that affect you?

That's what happens when you have an ocean of oil under your country.

I don't know which of us would get beheaded, but if I did that, one of us would be leaving without a head.

The difference is that coalitions work together. Republicans and Democrats hate bipartisanship.

Well I have... They talked about home furnishings and cosmetics, their kids, historic preservation, continuing education for women and their businesses... from beauty shops to boutiques... restaurants, small factories, publishing houses and their import-export businesses. Women in Arabia get more business licenses than men.

The Saudis probably have more tolerance for women talking to women than they do for women talking to men.

    Source?

LOL! I never said they were "based" on misogyny, I said they're misogynistic. The laws come from the Koran- Sharia. It's sad that KSA is thousands of years behind the rational world. However, they're one of 10 nations that use those laws 100%. Muslim-run nations are very far behind (thousands of years) when it comes to human rights.

Yes, I met many when I lived there. You ask me the same questions over and over. I have first hand experience. I wish I could take it back.

Ask just about any American woman who lived in Arabia for any period of time... Or, you can go to websites like ARAMCO annuitants or ARAMCO brats.

Saudi women talk to men every day.. they just don't flirt..

Uh, our coalitions are not "Democrats and Republicans". The coalitions are Democrats or Republicans. Those are our two coalitions.

Actually I know that most Westerners are ignorant about Saudi Arabia even those soldiers who spent a few months there.
