i beleive 'we' are time traveling... it's plausible that our future selves have figured it out and have been 'visiting' us (we are the et's with ufo's)... it plausibly explains many things such as our quick rise in electronics & technologies in short time frame& scientific advances...

We are definitely traveling forward in time at a rate of 1 second per second.

But yes, I have found that if you corner other physicists much smarter than me, time travelers are a preferred explanation to ETs. This is because it is a simpler explanation. It requires fewer solutions.

I am a Huuuuuuuuuuuuuge fan of ACClarke. I will check that out,

Childhood's End is my favorite sci fiction novel.

PS. Everyone knows why satellites in geosynchronis orbit are in the Clarke Belt, right? AC Clarke invented the idea for a story, He is the reason you can point your Dish TV [and most satellite communications] at one point in the sky.

If you really want to blow your own mind, read QED by Feynman, It is a synopsis of the subject he invented - Quantum Electrodynamics. While he doesn't attempt to explain why it happens, he explains what happens. And it defies all conventional thought. He swims through oceans of paradoxes.

I was referring to the paucity of evidence.

I'm well aware that our modern models of physics are clearly not complete and have a hole were gravity resides.

So, I agree with the "we don't know". And, I agree that there are some pretty wild findings and some equally wild ideas concerning solutions.

It would be great to see some real progress on that.

Books and lectures written by Feynman are always a fascinating and entertaining read.

He had a marvelous approach to problems and a clarity in his descriptions that are hard to find anywhere.

You may change the perception of the past or the interpretation of the past or create an alternative past in thought....but you cannot change events in the past.

I agree. OTOH, it would be irrefutable proof of a multiverse if you were able to return to your own time on your own timeline with history still intact.

That would be one heck of a prime time interview!
