They're like the Nazis. There's really no real difference.

You know you're winning the debate every time you drop Godwin's law.

A Fetus can not feel pain until significant brain function exists ... roughly 20-24 weeks.

You're right my posts do accurately define my position, strange that you still don't represent what I've said honestly without referencing some other persons position that is not my own. This usually is either illiteracy or just plain ignorance. Though with you I somehow think it's some of the latter and some intellectual dishonesty by only being able to strawman my position.

Also as I've explained many times human life =/= human being. Until you can provide evidence of that then it's not really a discussion I could care to continue, there's only so many times I can just be shown appeals to emotion with fraudulent information with dramatic music by some charlatan and expect the conversation to be able to have some roots in an honest discussion.

I don't remember the Nazi stance on abortion, However, they did have a policy of impressing their beliefs onto others.

You mean like the mother impressing her will onto her unborn baby?

In every area outside abortion, isn't this exactly what the Liberals in America are doing?

I can assure the fetus does not care. However the woman certainly does care when you try and force her to go through unwanted pregnancy and childbirth.

What exactly does this comment have to do with the topic at hand?

That's the case whether the woman chooses abortion or birth. Whose will do you think it should be?

How would you know? "Pro-choicers" would not care what the fetus thought anyway.

The fetus needs a much more developed brain to care. That's how I know.

So what's the problem with euthenising the severely retarded?
Little babies that have just been born don't care either, do they?

Actually the difference between the severely retarded and neonates is that they can think, feel pain and most importantly do not need to take the biological nourishment of another human being to physically survive. They are independent human beings at this point nor are they a health risk to other people. I know it's really hard for you lifers to comprehend that, but just think about it for a while and perhaps the concept will finally sink in.

Honestly, whatever you believe is right or wrong doesn't matter. Law is about maintaining order, nothing else. When you prosecute a murderer for killing somebody already born, that is to protect Order. If a Murderer (by legal tradition, not your definition) is allowed to be free, Order will be disrupted by the fears of people that there is no mechanism to dissuade it from happening to them. Abortion does not fit that criteria, because Nobody who could be disturbed by any issue could be aborted. Thus, if you take religiously influenced bias out of the equation, there is no rational for a law against abortion.

And from that, I also submit, that No sane pro-choice person would want to impress forced abortions on anybody. So there is no chance that a pro-choice stance would infringe on you. So you have no dog in the fight, as they say.

Any ban on Abortion effects Poor women in disproportion. I never hear a so called 'pro-lifer' suggest that social programs be created that are specifically designed to unburden women from the costs of carrying a fetus to term. Prenatal Medical care costs, loss of wages from their inevitable maternity leave, etc. Should the Pro-lifers want to burden society with care of pregnant women and the costs with placing unwanted children in homes.... A ban on abortion wouldn't be necessary, because sensible people with no medical reason for abortion would carry to term. There will always be people who opt for abortion anyways, and banning them from doing so would see a lot of dumpster babies and back alley abortion attempts. But you wouldn't support a program like that, that would be a social program, and that's a liberal thing... they are the enemy right?

I'm sure that's exactly what feminists would say about the retarded also if they got in the way of "women's rights". Take away taxpayer support and make the woman responsible for her child and I have no doubt it would turn feminists into enthusiastic supporters of euthenasia.

Oh dear lord. Do you even know how to stay on topic? You keep wanting to bring up and discuss feminists and liberals and blah blah blah. Let me bring you back on topic, we are discussing abortion and a woman's right to have one or not. Is there any chance you can stay on topic? Or do you want to discuss the liberals and the feminists and the mentally retarded?

I'm just saying, your red herrings are getting rather aggravating now.
