That's the way to go, Saudi Arabia. Down with the sins and the works of the devil (the West). After all, Allah needs strong and healthy men to take over the world for him.

If they apply the tax to health care, it is perfectly fair and reasonable. Life choices cost money. Someone has to pay for it. Why not the people making the choices. I think we should do the same thing here for a wide variety of choices, to include booze and all other drugs, soft drinks, fast food and junk food, dangerous activities... and apply this to a single-payer health care program. It is the best and only way to protect the right of choice without expecting others to pay for your choices. We already tax the hell out of cigs, booze, and now pot in some States. Those taxes should be applied to health care to the extent that booze and cigs create health care costs. Interestingly, that amounts to about $2 a drink, and $2 a pack.
Why just health care? Most of the people we support through government programs and handouts are because of the choices they make.
