Sen. Kyrsten Sinema does not support Democrats' $3.5 trillion budget plan that aims to deliver major components of President Joe Biden’s economic agenda that Democrats hope to pass after moving a separate bipartisan infrastructure deal that Sinema negotiated.

Sinema, D-Ariz., told The Arizona Republic on Wednesday she had reviewed the Senate Budget Committee’s spending framework and has told Senate leadership and Biden that she supports many of its goals, including job growth and American competitiveness.

“I have also made clear that while I will support beginning this process, I do not support a bill that costs $3.5 trillion — and in the coming months, I will work in good faith to develop this legislation with my colleagues and the administration to strengthen Arizona’s economy and help Arizona’s everyday families get ahead,” Sinema said in a written statement.

Sinema’s reservations with the overall budget bill, along with those of Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., suggests Democrats won’t have the votes to pass the more expansive plan, forcing Democrats to scale back the bill.

I propose a trade with the Democrats. We will give Liz Cheney if send over Krysten Sinema. We'll also throw-in Mitt Romney. The other Senator from Arizona will keep his mouth shut, because he has to run in the Democrat Primary and then has to put on a Republican suit in the General Election. They're clearly looking at the same data that I've been reading. Sinema is probably going to cover Kelly until 2022.

They made the right political call. With Joe Biden's approvals falling to 46% in the Rasmussen and Economist/YouGov Polls, and Arizona Voter opposition to almost every Biden policy, I don't expect the gridlock to end.

It's a bit simpler in West Virginia. Joe Manchen has +60% voter mandate to oppose Joe Biden.

The bill which they will support will not update 10% of the crumbling and decayed infrastructure in our country. We will continue down the path to third world country status, that we are currently on.

Nope. I didn't think they could pass a massive enough spending bill to repair America's infrastructure. You need half a trillion to improve the ports, and that's if the environmentalists allow you to dredge, lay pipelines, and build storage facilities. It's pretty much a pointless endeavor unless you can build a natural gas pipeline to those ports. Several dozen billion dollars for roads and trains?

I remember all the signs that were put up to commemorate Obama's stimulus package. They built and refurbished these two bridges in Hackensack, New Jersey, but they were both closed a few years later. It's garbage infrastructure. But this time, more of it will be built in Arizona and West Virginia.

Wrong bill. The 3.5 trillion bill isn’t the infrastructure bill. This bill is full of goodies for democrats.

Yeah. Not happening. Sinema and Manchen are going to support the $500 Billion for Infrastructure and the $400 Billion for Senior Citizens. We're giving 54 million old people their own servants instead of making them wait in a nursing home for 3 years. lol.

Sinema intends to rip out everything else, and the Conservative Democrats and Republicans couldn't be happier about the situation. They get to go back to their districts, and yell at old people about the great benefits they'll be receiving. Seniors have run this country since I was born. Before every mid-term, the establishment politicians give old people a bunch of goodies.

Did Democrats really think they were going to get student loan foregiveness? The only person that could've pushed a $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill down the throat of his party was Donald Trump, and Democrats would have complained that it wasn't enough. Eventually, they would have to accept it. Who would have thought that Trump would sign a bill that gave tax dollars to voters.

    Oh, really? Let's see now....

Well, Trump ballhooed a lot about infrastructure, ran on it in 2016, even dedicated a week to it in 2017, and "infrastructure week" became a running joke.

Mr "Art Of The Deal" couldn't get it done, and that's the long and short of it, and Biden is getting it done in his first year in office.

"...The only person....." yeah, my frickin' butt.

    No thanks.

The Republicans need every moderate they have to keep the party from going off-the-rails into full-on Trump idiocy. You need Cheney and Romney and more like them far more than the Democrats do.

What if they applied for refugee status? Would you take them?

We have a bunch of moderates in the Party. But Cheney and Romney are establishment Neocons just like Biden. I have no interest in invading another country like Iraq or funding an Islamist Nazi State to fight the Syrian Army.

I'm being facetious. She's essentially dictating or arbitrating policy.

Even if they were to pass a 10 trillion dollar infrastructure bill, we would have to outsource foreign labor because a huge number of Americans are to frightened, and refuse to work thanks to the COVID scare.. Then there are the new breed of hypochondriac that can't even venture outside their vehicles without masking up only to pull up to a store front while someone loads their trunk with groceries!

Road crews take tough men and women to work, heat. cold and ever changing weather, God forbid the American work in those condition with a suffocating mast mandate EVEN if you are vaccinated :puke:

Considering all Presidents are held to the previous Presidents budget their first year in office and in Trumps case was smashed with COVID Crisis in 2020 I don't believe two years is even possible to accomplish anything in Washington today.. Hell, Mr. Obatard had seven years and a blank checkbook and didn't get a thing done other that making bankers and lenders mega rich..

I would think you would have considered those facts..

She is not dictating anything. The bill has already cleared the Senate.

Yep. She knows this bill is just a Democratic Party / Leftist pay off. Why the Republicans are even messing around with this garbage tells you how depraved that party is too.
