An interesting article from the gang over at Slate, published about a month ago.

What caught my attention was a passage from Dylan Avery, who seems to be changing his point of view regarding '9/11 Truth':

    Source

Note that reason came about after going directly to the people who were on the scene.

Yep. There's just no basis in reality for all that conspiracy stuff. Nothing concrete to go on.

Why would some secret entity fire a missile into the pentagon while at the same time crashing 2 planes into the twin towers, one into a field, and apparently executing everyone in the fourth plane that was supposed to hit the pentagon? I mean that's the only way it makes sense, unless you want to say that those planes, or at least the fourth plane didn't exist. This all happening, BTW, in a presidency which leaked like a sieve and no one has talked. I just don't get it.

Much like the 9/11 commission report and their story about who was behind 9/11.

KSM would have confessed to blowing up the space shuttle the way he was being tortured.

He could recant tomorrow. He does not. He will not.

    Thats the bottom line.

More pathetic, illogical and baseless conjecture on your part.

What's he supposed to do, hold a press conference? Were you even thinking when you came up with this crap?

You have no indication whatsoever that KSM has any opportunity to recant, make a statement or otherwise get any message to the outside world, considering he remains on permenant solitary confinement (something used as a brief punishment only in even the hardest U.S. maximum security prisons). All while being unconvicted of any crimes, including 9/11 (presumably due to lack of evidence).

No reason to believe that the guard who slides his meal through the hole, probably the only guy he's had contact with in years, would pass along ANY message.

He could recant tomorrow but he doesn't. Despite your fantasies.

He also confessed to other things because he was tortured, and many of these claims were PROVEN false. He even confessed to plots which were proved to NOT EVEN EXIST.

If KSM confessing to something only AFTER being tortured means he did that crime, than how does this explain all those PROVEN false confessions he made?

That's the simple fact candy hasn't the ability to confront.

Torture provides any answer the inTERRORgater wants to hear...eventually. Is that what you call "works"?

So your argument is proven because he hasn't done something that he can only do in the future?

Maybe tomorrow he'll have an opportunity to recant, and he will.

As for today, he has NO SUCH opportunity.. As proven by your inability to explain how he could do so. Hell he doesn't even get a trial.

He could recant tomorrow despite your fantasies about him being in some dungeon somewhere. I'm sure he appreciates getting your love letters.

It was pretty obvious from the beginning that Avery's objective was money.

    His recant means very little

The 19 Al-Queda hijackers and their Middle Eastern/Asian leaders?

How were they motivated by money?

How rediculous is the notion that you would plant explosive demolitions on the exact floors that you would then have to fly planes into those floors and then blow up the explosives, provided the planes didn't mess up you detonation devices. Same with the building 7 garbage. Gee, we plotted with these terrorists to blow up all these building and kill 3,000 people to collect on the insurance policies. What a load of crap.

There is no proof any of those 19 did anything wrong on those jets.

Were there any witnesses to the alleged attacks?

    Where is your proof?
