Simple question: did and do slaves have the right to kill their masters, if the masters refuse to set them free?

I consider human slavery to be a moral crime, a crime against humanity, and a violation of the universal rights of man.

I believe it was this way 3,000 years ago, as well as today.

No human has the moral right to force another human into forced labor and captivity, unless as a punishment for a crime, convicted by a court of law.

That said, in my view, if a slave owner refuses to free his slave, the slave has the right to use deadly force to achieve his freedom. If the slave owner attempts to maintain the human as his "property", the human has the moral right to use deadly force to achieve his freedom.

    who could argue with that?

I would argue yes in fact by not rebelling and making slavery undesirable he or she is threatening the further enslavement of more of their people and are cowards if they refuse deserving of their lot. The Amistad case in fact made this a legitimate defense if a slave rebelled to become free if done outside of existing law in this case slaves who were in themselves illegally obtained.

I say under the laws of nature, all humans have the right to use deadly force to achieve their freedom, if their enslavement was immoral.

3000 yrs ago social rules were different...you can't compare them to today's social rules and laws, in the present time I would agree with you...

If one believes that all men are created equal, and are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, amongst which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, then it is hard to argue that a man being held as a slave wouldn't have the right to secure his own freedom using whatever means he deems necessary.

the people who wrote those rules that all men were created equal were only thinking of themselves...they didn't see women nor were they considering slaves as equals

Except that was written by a slavemaster.
He believed all white men were created equal.

I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility.
I don’t believe in giving authority and positions of leadership and judgment to irresponsible people.”
