Fish on Fridays is a tradition started in the early history of the Church.

Tonight I'll look forward to fish on Easter Sunday.

When Jesus met with the apostles in Bethany after his resurrection from the tomb, they had a prearranged place chosen already to meet at.

At that occasion, when Jesus arrived there to the other 11 who were preassembled, He took a piece of broiled tilapia and ate it. It was to prove he was a real Person and not just a ghost.

There is no Catholic tradition about eating fish on Easter Sunday. It's just what I do after a 40 hour fast at Easter. Sometimes I'll have the fish broiled. Sometimes in a soup.

Tonight since I'm working, I'll have to have fish and chips with coleslaw instead of the potatoes. I prefer extra coleslaw rather than French fries with it.

My other Easter tradition is to re-read the 4 stories about the crucifixion and the resurrection given to us by Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John.

Mark, Matthew, and John were eye witnesses. They were there.

Luke was not an eye witness. He gained his information by inquiry from the others as well as from Holy Mary and Martha and Mary Magdalene.
