Gastric intestinal problems sounds like your dog needs to be wormed and change dog food. And never depend on store bought wormer for your animals,it doesn't work ?

We are in a late Fall heat wave here in N.Fl. and it ain't fun!

Finally got my little pond water crystal clear. I emptied the whole thing this summer and took all the fish out. Then I refilled it with fresh rainwater and added some more plants. It isnt quite full of water but this is our rainy season. I will not feed the fish until next summer at the earliest. Maybe never at all. I think the fish food helps create green water. The fish wont eat when the pond water is cool anyway. They also have duckweed and other plants to eat. I have a smaller pond right next to this pond and am considering combining the two ponds into one....using the little pond as a filter.

Good morning y'all. Dad passed his drivers license test yesterday... not bad for 92. He was one happy camper... two more years to drive! And we only had to wait FOUR HOURS @ the DMV. *grumble*

    Who made coffee?

Maybe he is trying to mask his scent. We had a coonhound who managed to find the most putrid piles of stink in the woods and roll around in it to mask his scent. He would come back all proud. lol
He was a bear chaser. One time we were in the shed which is about 75ft from the house. We hear BahOooooooooooooo and look out the shed door and there was a black bear lumbering through and Bubbah following baying. I darted out the shed before I could get grabbed to stop...lol...and sprinted to the house to get my .30.30 just in case. I got about 5' from the shed and heard get the **** back here are you insane? Then it dawned on me. Run faster this could be a mistake. Ahahahaha

92?? Dang, I was considering pulling my Dad's license at 69 - had this thing for parked cars and mailboxes.

Well, if he's in Texas, he'll blend in with all the other 95 MPH high-tailers down there. Tis a bit of a risky business to drive down there.

Today has been interesting. Had two soldiers get into a fight. They got into a fist fight over who could do a better Ted (the movie) impression.

I'm not sure what compelled two people to fight over a Ted impression but it happened. To be honest, I'm just going to ignore it.

Came home at 1145. Took the dog for a nice run. He finally is consistently sleeping through the night. At the very least, if he's not sleeping, he's chewing a toy quietly.

VERY IMPORTANT, speaking of dogs . New cure for itch is killing dogs and they die a slow horrible death.
Cytopoint injection's vets are giving can be very dangerous.
I don't know how to bring up thread but it is on this site discussing dogs with itch ans skin problems and the so called treatment of Cytopoint.

I thought maybe it was a flashback to redder times. Lord knows its been awhile. :tears:

Four glorious days off! Supposed to turn cold, but I ran all my errands on the way home so I can hibernate. Cooking lima beans w ham one day. Beef stew another. Yum, real food. :knifefork:

Bag Balm is good for a number of irritants, but I've become less inclined to use it these days, as petrolatum base seems to dry my skin after it's no longer being used. REAL aloe does well also, and won't harm the dog if he licks it off.

A very wise person once told me, take things second by second. Seconds will turn into minutes and minutes will turn into hours. Hours turn into days and days turn into years.
    You'll get through this.
