I keep seeing many of the conservatives on here keep lauding Gabbard as their preferred choice, if they were to look at any Democrats.

    My question is WHY?

What is it specifically about her position that enthralls you to her?

    Is it foreign policy?

    Is it economy?

I would really like to know why, and ideally, an original response that does not sound like something blurted out by right wing media.

Only thing I can think of is an opposition to counter productive wars other than that not much.

Of all Democrat candidates she and Yang seem to hate America the least. That would be my guess. Personally I see her as just another prog, and I wouldn't want her picking Supreme Court justices...

I like her healthcare position as well. " We pay far more in this country on healthcare costs than any other country in the world and get worse results"https://www.tulsigabbard.org/tulsi-gabbard-on-medicare-all

"Tulsi believes that our present healthcare system is organized by and for the benefit of big insurance and pharmaceutical companies and not the American people, which must be changed"

Can't argue with that - similar to the Mafia our system of healthcare Extortion is.

Tulsi Gabbard is the Donald Trump of the Democrat Party. I disagree with much of what she says but love her honesty and she is correct on working to get the US out of conflicts in shithole countries we have no business.
If I were Trump I would have her in some cabinet position where their positions agree.

She NEVER had even the slightest degree of relevance during the presidential campaign.

Of course they did - how else could it happened - Gov't is still who makes the rules last time I checked - It is a legalized system of healthcare extortion - which is why we need more folks like Gabbard in power to change the rules.

She's not a complete socialist, nor does she seem to hate America as much as the rest of the folks running

    Can you elaborate, please?

What do you think is her foreign policy position, or in other words, what should the US role be in the Middle East?

It's that they see her pulling away just enough votes from whoever the Dem candidate is to make Trump a winner in 2020...

Just as an aside here, you do know that ever since the implementation of the ACA, insurance companies are required by law to use no more than 20% of every dollar they collect in premiums to running the companies. Once you remove operating costs, in general it leaves them with less than 4% profit.

In SC primary, she polled in at .25% IIRC. Hardly threatening.

True, but I keep seeing members on here who keep mentioning her and I would like to know why (I think I have a clue, but I'd like to see some of our posters' responses to confirm).

But she's not polling well, nor does she seem to have increased her base.

Okay, I'll mark you down for the fuzzy warm feeling she gives you. Keep in mind that makes you one of those voters who just goes with "feelings". I'm not saying that you have done this, but many on the right claim Democrats only vote with their feelings, so thank you for admitting that is how you approach your political decisions.

The opposing side ALWAYS singles out the most milquetoast candidate from the other side and declares that they could possibly vote for them. The reality is that if they were to ever win their party's nomination, the "other side" would turn on them so fast that it would make your head spin.

As proof of this notion one only need look at the candidacy's of John Mcain and Mitt Romney. They were the media/leftist darlings until they got the nomination, at which point the other side declared that they have changed and they painted them as an extremist just as they would any other Republican candidate.

Another zinger - except this time rather than stating the obvious - what you are stating a false hood - based on a propaganda narrative you sing yourself to sleep with every night.
