Hey - Clinton lost. End of that story.

What are Republicans doing about winning? So far, they're just whining about why they can't get things done, rather than building a coalition to
move the ball. You can't spend the next four years using Clinton as an excuse for everything - it's going to wear thin pretty fast. There is a reason Trump's approval ratings are so low.

Since we are living in what George Orwell envisaged in 1984, Trump will just declare failing to do anything about healthcare as a "win" - and Fox and Breitbart will grunt agreement and the followers will grunt agreement.
Reality no longer matters to them.

Back on track? I could not disagree more. But he did not have much to work with. When you replace living wage jobs with low wage part time service sector work, shrinking the middle class, dropping people into poverty, this is hardly back on track. This is called swirling down the toilet. But he inherited this failed economic model. But he agrees with it. He was not a president of the people the DP represented until Bill Clinton sold them out. The DP became the party of the upper middle professional class and of course the elite upper class. These are the people they have represented since Bill. Couple books have been written on this great change.

Not sure how they could keep the minority votes though. I think it was just voting habits with these minorities, dating back to the civil rights era. Yet they have done nothing for black working people. Or any working people.

Obama really did little in the way of average americans. His TPP would have finished off blue collar workers. Now, I am not saying the corporate and banking cabal GOP would have done any better than Obama. They probably will hinder trump when and if he takes on MNCs and slave labor. The elites have paid far too much for this globalism scheme to send the money to the top by getting rid of the blue collar middle class. And there is no difference between the two establishment parties on this issue.

If trump can do 1/2 of what he ran on in regards to filling up the hollowed out economy which has fed working people for so long, he will help out working people more than any president since before Reagan. I am just afraid that even if he does bring jobs home, they will no longer be middle class jobs, but will follow the model of Japanese car companies here in the south, which do not pay anything but lower middle class wages, in fact, lower, lower, middle class wages, barely above the working poor. But those corporations will be highly profitable due to the lower wages. The idea of a reasonable profit is gone, thanks to Uncle Miltie Friedman and the dismantling of the FDR economic model.

Yes we are living in a post truth, post 1984 America, but trump didn't create it. The dems and the repubs colluded on it. On behalf of their bribers, the elites. Trump ran against that as did sanders. Since trump lost his principles on foreign policy this may mean he will lose his principles and campaign promises on representing working people. We shall have to wait and see. But while I did not vote for him, I supported him on change. But he lost my support when he turned into just another neocon like Hillary, Graham, and McCain just to name a few of many.

I meant in terms of investing. However, I noticed you still haven't answered my question about Social Security.

We are winning so much, we may get several new SCOTUS justices over Trumps years. The wall has been started

Those EO will work and I expect a tax cut this year. As we keep honing the economy the harder it will be for Democrats to win races

I don't know much about winning, but I do know a little about Trump's foreign policies.

Truth be told Trump has reversed himself on nearly every major foreign policy issue. This would include Syria, three major shifts in policy within a span of two weeks.

First he said the one China policy is negotiable. This was followed by an endorsement of the one China policy. He berated China endlessly in front of his adoring admirers. Now he embraces President Xi as a "friend." A common refrain was China is a currency manipulator. He said on Wednesday that he would no longer label China a currency manipulator.

Trump first changed U.S. foreign policy on the two-state solution in Palestine. Then he reversed himself and endorsed the two-state solution.

On NATO, "I said it was obsolete," Trump said, referring to his criticisms of the alliance during the 2016 campaign. "It's no longer obsolete." From implying he would not defend countries that had not paid their bills, to endorsing NATO wholeheartedly if countries paid their bills.

Repeatedly, he told his fawning fans he would build a wall and, as his fans cheered mightily, he proclaimed Mexico would pay for it. Today, Mexico paying for the wall is no longer a possibility, and Republicans in Congress are delaying a decision on Trump’s request for $1.5 billion this year to begin construction on the border wall, according to Fox News.

He told his admirers that he ordered an "armada" to the Sea of Japan to be in close proximity to North Korea. Perhaps, Trump should join us in the 21st Century. The term, "armada," hasn't been used since the 17th Century. It's called a Carrier Battle Group, or CBG.

On one foreign policy front Trump has been consistent. Trump refuses to condemn Russia for anything. Russia interfered in our election. Trump remains silent. Russia is complicit with Assad and the deaths of 500.000 Syrians. Trump remains silent. Regarding Assad's chemical attack on his own people, this is what Trump said insofar as Russia is concerned, "And frankly, Putin is backing a person that's truly an evil person. And I think it's very bad for Russia. I think it's very bad for mankind. It's very bad for this world." In other words, other than backing the wrong horse, Russia is doing nothing wrong in supporting Assad.

Please note, Russian war planes have helped destroy Syrian cities while thousands were killed in the process. According to the Pentagon, Russia knew beforehand of the chemical attack on a Syrian city that distressed Trump so much.

Trump's condemnation of Russia's complicity in Assad's crimes against humanity is conspicuous by its absence. This begs a question. Why the silence?

Sounds reasonable. But I doubt it. At a very minimum Gorsuch must recuse himself from any matters that comes before the court that would have to do with International Affairs, or that would affect any foreign national. If the Muslim ban goes before the Supreme Court, and he votes against repealing the executive order, it will certainly look very suspicious.

I'm still tying to figure out why you can't just rely on the government to take care of you in you golden years. That's what Social Security is for. Having all those outside investments almost seems selfish, don't you think? And why do you feel the need to brag about how much money you made when some people can't even feed their children?

Gorsuch will be on the court for many, many decades. Enjoy.

Ginsburg can't last much longer before she dies and goes to hell.

Good think your loving god and his sadistic hell don't exist. You probably wouldn't want to spend eternity in Ginsberg's presence.

Mostly right-wing nationalists are responsible for the ascension of the Trump presidency.

So unless that's somewhere around where your ideology lays "we" don't need anything.

This is so disturbing. I knew white nationalism was rife in your country, but I didn't know that 42% of women were white nationalists. I didn't know that 1 in 3 Hispanics were white nationalists. That just shocks me. I figure they must hate their race or something?

Not all Trump supporters are racists, but enough are to have voted him into office solely on racist ideals. Trump had a lot of indirect wink-wink moments with racists here in the US. No offense, but if you're not American, you probably never caught these subtle cultural innuendos.

Oh ok, that makes sense. So none of the 1 in 3 Hispanics who voted for Trump are white nationalists, only the whites who voted for him.

Those poor Hispanics just got conned by Whitey. That bloody Whitey.
