Of course my post addresses your claim that Jesus was not for Socialism. Your problem is that you do not know what Socialism it.

One of the main tenets of Socialism is "Wealth Redistribution" ... taking the fruits of someone labor and putting in the hands of the State - which then distributes this wealth how it sees fit.

Taxation "IS" wealth redistribution = taking the fruits of someone's labor and putting in the hands of the State.

Where do you think the money for Police, sewage, infrastructure and the military comes from if not from wealth redistribution ?

Socialism is nothing more than a social order, so in truth, ALL countries are socialist because they are ALL built upon a social order. My dislike is with Communism, Marxism, Totalitarianism, Monarchies, etc. Being that life is based and constructed upon the rule and authority of the individual, regardless if it be Man, mankind, Insect, Animal, single-celled life, etc, it is all based upon self-governance. The reason why is does not exist among people is that people are under this silly notion that the way things are, is the way things have always been and always will be.

And now you change your claim from Jesus supported socialism - a claim which has been eviscerated - to claiming that I "claim that Jesus was against helping the poor and the sick". Prove that I made such a claim, show me the post which states Jesus was against helping the poor and sick. You lie once again.

I can't help but observe the you've ran as fast as you can from the fact that the economy
is starting to grow and will grow even faster after deregulation and tax cuts.

The budget means nothing. You'd think you'd know that.

And yet one is "punished" for not "voluntarily" giving.

"Mandate.” meaning to "hand over", or "to give as an order or command." In John 15:12, 17, Jesus tells His disciples in the upper room “This is My command: Love one another as I have loved you.” He repeats Himself and again says This is what I command you: Love one another.”

And while Christ did not mandate taking from others to give to the poor, nor did He mandate taking from the poor to give to the rich. Also, in the same idea, we are told in 1John 3:17

"But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?"

And it is mandated in Matthew 7: 9-11 that:

"Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? "Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!"

I believe socialists are more inclined not to give because they believe the
government should do that dirty work.
I don't believe Collectivists (Collectivism is a canopy that socialism is under) understand what
love is since the government can't provide it. The private sector, i.e. the disciples, do a far
    better job of loving.
Nor did he tell Christians to create a government and take from one in order to give to another.
That wouldn't be Christian. Robbing from the poor to give to the rich is classic Collectivism.
This is about greediness and has nothing to do with Collectivism.
He mandated nothing. Where do you see that? He's comparing human giving and it's limitation
    compared to God's giving.

This was fun. Anything else you want to know?

I did not lie at all. You just cannot handle what follows from your own words.

Socialist programs such as welfare and healthcare redistribute wealth to help feed the poor and take care of the sick.

Your whole diatribe has been that Christianity (which is based on the teachings of Jesus in the Bible) does not support socialism which is the same as saying the teachings of Jesus were not socialist.

The fact of the matter is that Jesus did support wealth redistribution to help feed the poor an take care of the sick.

I hate to burst that fairy tale bubble you live in but, Jesus preached a socialist message :)

And to burst it again in the same post - You are a fan of socialism as well !! You like wealth redistribution. You like that the fruits of other peoples labor were used to build the roads that you like so much, the sewage, the Police, the Military... and so on.

Nonsense. Only a small part of their economies are socialist. Norway's government owned oil industry, doesn't make the rest of the economy socialist. They collect 42% of GDP in the form of taxes, from the capitalist economy. Taxing the capitalist economy to fund social programs, isn't socialism.
The only countries that identify as socialist are China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, India, Korea, Nepal, Portugal and Tanzania. And even some of those are identifying as "socialism oriented" or "democratic socialist"

You need a parent to care for you. I certainly wouldn't want to appoint the government to that role.

    The people select the government...
    The government collects taxes...
Tax revenues are used to pay for law enforcement...
    Law enforcement provides the service.

Pure socialism. Replace the phrase "law enforcement" with any government service you wish. Welfare, Social Security, military, and so forth.

I know it makes you uncomfortable to find yourself an unabashed unreformed Socialist but you can learn to live with it.

'Best' or 'most effective'? Important distinction. You can have the most modern toys, but it's how you use them that counts. Remember the Chinese submarine that popped up in the middle of your battle fleet, undetected?

    OK then.

Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, Welfare, AFDC, and other programs are not socialism.

Thanks. We'll be sure to hold you to that.

I agree with much of what you are saying. I think it's cause is less greed though, than desperation. People want more than they can produce, so they turn it around in their heads and decide they are owed that difference from their neighbor—because it seems to come more easily to him.

That neighbor then sees this growing queue of people feeling they have a right to what he is making and, when reason fails, looks for another way to protect what he is trying to build. The answer is usually distraction. He says yes, you can have what I've built, but go do this other thing to earn it. That other thing often has no value, but it turns the tide and shifts that attention away from himself.

I don't think I've ever met an evil person. Just folks desperately trying to get through this thing called life, some with less ability to get done what they think must get done and some who we ask more of, simply because they can do more.

Those programs don't take care of people, they ask those who produced that wealth to take care of people. That's like claiming you helped Joe, because you told Mike to cook for him.

Ancient, outdated diesel electric that realistically cannot remain undetected for very long due to the need for 'snorkeling' in order to power the diesel electric generators. We have at least a couple of 'boomers', subs carrying around 30 nuclear missiles with 4 separately targeted warheads with a few kiloton nuclear yield each poised around the arctic reminding china whos really got the keys to the car. The difference between Chinese operations and American operations is you don't hear about American ones, because they are successful. And we have no need for pathetic publicity stunts.

Jesus supported voluntary wealth distribution to help feed the poor and take care of the sick, as do I.

    Wrong on all counts.

Prove Jesus teachings supported a socialist form of government. It should be simple for you to do.

I agree, there is a substantial difference between religious morality and wealth redistribution, 50% tax rates, and government welfare providing all the needs for a simple, feeble minded existence within the state.

Hush now baby, baby don't you cry.
