You talk as if 1. the bankruptcy couldn't have been prevented with responsible behavior - such as having proper insurance and 2. as if the person will stop getting care once they go bankrupt. The government will provide free insurance to people that need it - such as people who have gone bankrupt from medical bills. We still take care of them. Even the US rewards irresponsible behavior.

Regardless, people who have proper insurance rarely run into that situation. It is the ones who don't bother with insurance, or by insufficient insurance that end up in bankruptcy.

or the insurance companies that find ways to not pay out when you get ill, you can't defend your current system it is inhumane, and those with no insurance do not receive the same level of care you don't take care of them you let them die.

You mean like the people who die in ambulances and emergency rooms in the UK? People die everywhere from lack of care. The fact remains that good medical care is provided to people who can't pay in the US.

Unlimited? Really? I've read plenty of articles about procedures not being allowed or offered in many countries with national health care, particularly in Britain. It may not be limited based on ability to pay, but it is still limited.

well in that sense you are correct, all care is limited even in the USA at the best clinics it can be limited, but it is a lot more limited in America if you can't pay, and I wouldn't believe all you read in the right wing media about healthcare in the UK, death panels for example, something mentioned all the time, do not and have not ever existed, there are no such things.

Do you have any data to back up this claim or is this just your interpretation of TANSTAAFL?
