Animals are disgusting and do disgusting things. My brother raised mice in our garage. He would put a piece of lunchmeat in the cage to make sure a mother mouse would not eat one of her babies after birth. Because that's what mother mice do. They eat one of their own babies after birth so they can restore the protein in their body. Anyone who believes in "Animal Rights" should keep in mind that animals are constantly killing and eating each other, even their own children. A dog who humps another dog is just being a dog. Anyone who thinks a dog can be "gay" is just being anthropomorphic.
I had a billy goat once that wanted to get at the does across the fence. Since his natural inclination [as is the same of all males of all species] was to hump and thrust whatever was near to vent that urge. Unfortunately he was in with a bunch of other bucks. He'd face the girls, pace the fence trying to get at them as they stuck their estrous butts next to the fence and then turn to a buddy next to him to try to vent his frustration. After the first few days of this he started to ignore the does and simply went for the bucks from then on. Researchers and practitioners in the AI and ag industry know of this tendency and are careful to separate young males from each other until they are properly turned in to mate with females. The point being that sexual orientation can be imprinted at a threshold age via psych. 101 classical conditioning.. and we'd do well to remember that when setting social norms [such as marriage] for sexual behavior to model for our young and very impressionable youth.
Yes, there was a study done with rats. They started with a few pairs and put them in one big cage and allowed them to overpopulate until things were unbearable for them. They all turned homosexual, and then they stopped having offspring, and then the entire population died out. So it makes sense that homosexuality is a lot more common in overcrowded cities.

LOL. Let's be honest - the dude who got rid of the dog is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing idiot. Anyone who has ever owned a male dog (especially the little buggers) knows that they will hump anything and usually it has nothing to do with sex. Often, this is how one dog will display/assert his dominance over another dog, and often that will lead to a fight. It's old pack hierarchy thing at work...
My mom's female dog humps the male dog in the house because she is the dominant one. I am pretty sure all the air humping has always just been a show of dominance for dogs and as far as I know dogs aren't one of the known species of animals to actively engage in same sex behavior anyways. I would say that the folks claiming this humping dog is gay are extremely misinformed. He's just showing his dominance.
When I was a kid, my Mom bought me a hamster. Surprise, surprise - I woke up the next day to find NINETEEN little pink things in the cage! The mother ate all but four. . .
I remember when I was a child, a family member got a dog as a Christmas gift. We were all sitting here with our opened presents and all of a sudden this dog comes over to me and starts humping my leg. I freaked out. It made me want to vomit. Needless to say, I wasn't a dog person before this happened and I disliked them even more after that incident.
