    Oh please...you're being quite dramatic. I neither approve nor disapprove (as in I'm indifferent) as I am not an uptight drama queen. Maybe I just have more going on in my life that I don't get worked up over a meme.

    I am not responsible for other people's reactions.

    I was raised this way. Respect for the flag and country Three brothers and a father in the military and a sister who was married to a GI and then I served twenty years in the Air Force. It is in my heritage and my blood. My mother would salute the flag whenever she saw it. Some might consider it corny, but I make no apologies.

    Trump offends me on occasion although I have not seen no indication he has no respect for the flag. I did not vote for him. But I am guessing you voted for Hilary. I did not consider either worthy of my vote. That makes me one up on you.

    And you would be wrong (yet again) about your assumption I voted for Hillary. I have NEVER voted for a Dem in my entire voting life. I voted third party in last election and have stated that MANY times on this forum.

    I have a similar history. My two brothers were in WWII. One got all tore up in the Pacific. I served during the Vietnam war. My tow sons served during the Gulf wars.

    Some of us have a great deal of respect and pride in our country, and have fought for it. Some bad mouth the country, and expect a free ride.
