http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/30/us/south-carolina-church-fire-mount-zion-ame/index.html I really hope nobody was hurt. Just terrible.
Who knows any more. The last time tensions were deliberately jacked up by the media for political reasons and a wave of church burnings followed in Georgia it turned out the arsonists were black yoofs, so it wouldn't be the first time. Of course the story immediately disappeared as soon as they were caught; no more breathless talking head shows about the need for 'dialogue and healing' on the part of Whitey, at least until the next Cause came along to be exploited.
Just shows we dont know who is doing it and you cant assume.. Perhaps this are similiar cases of "activism".
When they catch the thug or thugs and whether or not he or they turn out to be Right or Left in orientation or White or Brown or Black the trial needs to be swift and the sentencing harsh and it needs to be thus even if it turns out to be yet another lunatic, hate-filled leftist trying to stir up racial strife for political/ideological reasons as happened just yesterday in a different state. Right or Left, White or Black . . . go directly to prison and then rot there for at least a decade and if anyone got hurt or killed in the arson event then quadruple the time spent behind bars. But I will add that if this time around if does turn out to be politically/ideologically inspired leftist activity then the Left-aligned bulk of this nation's media outlets should NOT just shrug it off as another episode of radical leftist activists just being radical leftist activists who meant well. Not . . . this . . . time.
Again with the assumption. Hell a woman set HERSELF on fire to promote racism.. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/201...n-set-herself-on-fire-wrote-racial-slurs?lite Dont assume..
Why not? Maybe if this was one church in one state I would but seven churches, all historically black, over several states in the South?
` This was the eighth black church set on fire, in the south, following the Charleston massacre. Of course there is strong suspicion that this is being done by members of the racist right. (Spate of Fires at Black Churches Raise Concerns of Rise in Hate Crimes) While there is no smoking gun as of yet, the south's heinous history of bombing and burning black churches makes it very logical to assume, but not directly implicate, people with racist intentions.
Despite the fact that white supremacists like Roof who are still moaning about Confederate flags would love to stick it to us. Then again it's not like this is the first time church burnings have occurred in America. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_East_Texas_church_burnings https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knoxville_Unitarian_Universalist_church_shooting https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Colorado_YWAM_and_New_Life_shootings
Your first link was 2 satan worshippers it had nothing to do with race. Why do you waste my time with this (*)(*)(*)(*)?
My assumption may still have merit given that this is a string of black church burnings, and conveniently only black churches, in the South over the course of one week. I simply added that burning and attacking churches, race related or not, is not new to America.
I guess any assumption would have "merit" depending on your bias. Why cant you wait for these idiots to be caught before judging anything? Havent you learned from recent events?
This is from the link in the OP: As yet, authorities do not know what caused it, said Williamsburg County Fire Chief Randy Swinton. Nice to see everyone is waiting to find out the cause of the fire before jumping to conclusions.
Are you saying Roof wasnt racist now? Or are you spinning like usual.. A little consistency would be nice.
The other black churches that have burned since June 17 are: * June 26: Greater Miracle Apostolic in Tallahassee, Florida. The fire was likely caused by a tree limb falling on power lines. * June 26: Glover Grovery Baptist in Warrenville, South Carolina. The cause has not been determined, but investigators observed no element of criminal intent. * June 24: Briar Creek Road Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, which houses both black and Nepalese congregations. Fire investigators ruled that fire an arson, and though they have not seen evidence that hate was a motivation for the crime, they are not ruling it out. * June 21: College Hill Seventh-day Adventist in Knoxville, Tennessee. Investigators ruled it an arson but they say nothing so far has indicated a hate crime. ATF and other agencies said that it looked like vandalism. * June 21: God's Power Church of Christ in Macon, Georgia. Investigators believe the blaze might be arson. ATF is investigating but no ruling has been made. The church had recently been broken into and air conditioners and sound systems stolen. Seems assuming racism is not the answer.... http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/30/us/south-carolina-church-fire-mount-zion-ame/index.html
In this thread: the same people who wouldn't admit Dylann Roof was a white supremacist have some doubts about all this supposed arson.
