This whole "Southern European" uprising lead by Monti, Rajoy and Hollande is utterly insane.

It is one thing, for Italy and Spain, to want immediate relief on their interest of their bonds -- it is an entire different thing why Southern European economies are in the mess they are in.

Southern Europe isn't "in crisis" because of high interests but because, to put it simply, they have crappy economies...

Anyways, I surely am not against "solidarity" -- but not at all costs...

In case y'all haven't noticed it isn't like the economy is booming in other places.

The money that gets transferred to Southern Europe should come with clear strings attached.

No blanco cheques, but: reform, reform, reform!

=> France needs to get her budget under control, instead of trying to fool the Belgian treasury and the Belgian taxpayers in the whole Dexia-debacle. If French towns, villages and cities suddenly have high interests on their Dexia loans they ought to suck it up OR we change how the Dexia burden get shared fairly between France & Belgium...

=> Italy must reform their labor laws.

=> Spain -- one big mess for which the Spaniards -- every single one of them -- are to blame. They got collectively drunk on cheap credit.

Reform is the new word for robbing working class in favour of capitalists for "growth"
    Over our dead bodies.

    ...

Well, maybe Northern Europeans should say "over our dead bodies" if y'all come asking for money again...

Anyways,... your argument doesn't make sense since it isn't exactly that Nothern Europeans are less wealthy than Southern Europeans.

Pretending that your nose is bleeding won't fool anyone.

You really thought that +€500 billion came falling from the skies?

If Spain & Italy don't have to follow the rules that other, smaller countries, have to follow -- what signal do you think that sends?!

Sorry, but what do you have to blame to me? What have I done? I've not got drunk on cheap credit and anything. And like me many millions of Spanish people.

And, what do you expect if you apply policies that are good for Germany but really bad for economies like the Spanish?

And now I am going to ask you? What kind of reform? In Spain there are some problems, but that problems are not asked to reform from Europe? What is asked to do is just make worse the situation.
