I have little doubt that we will invade another sovereign nation, and break international law once again, given only others, like russia are actually subject to it. We are above it. International law is not applicable to the US, or so it looks like if one happens to look objectively.

When George HR Bush was asked why we didn't drive on to Bagdad and take out Hussein, at the end of Desert Storm, he said something that people forgot. He said that the US does not invade sovereign nations, removing their rulers, perhaps because he remembered it is against the very international law that we helped to write post ww2, given what hitler had done in europe.
