This is a Democrat trend of not being able to examine their own governments and policies and instead doubling down and blaming everyone else. Jones is right that other Democrat mayors are engaged in the same pattern of blaming businesses for their own incompetence. NYC Mayor Adams has complained that he might sue car makers because it is too easy to steal their cars and the mayor of Chicago is talking of suing gun manufacturers because he claims it is too easy for criminals to illegally modify their guns to make them even better at engaging in illegal crimes.

Everyone is to blame except Democrat politicians and Democrat policies.

What I’ve noticed over the years is how democrat cities compete to be the murder capital of the country. I believe St Louis held that title a few times.

 

Sounds a lot like the left claiming that catalytic converter thefts are the fault of car companies for making them so easy to steal.

 

Damn those stores for looking so sexy. What self respecting criminal wouldn’t be forced to pillage and loot.

OK, but why do they need to 'hire' it? Suppose they just enforce the law on their property themselves. That would be the same, right?

 

How about the police actually do their jobs?

I won't hesitate to take our merchandise back physically from a thief and have done so on several occasions. Which is more than the worthless police will do.

We have 13 cameras here and a large part of my job overnight is simply watching them, I'm as much night watchman as I am store employee

democrats want to disarm honest folk or prosecute those who engage in self defense against violent thugs. I support laws that prevent those who engage in theft or robbery from having protection of the courts in terms of being able to file lawsuits if they get injured robbing others

 

Well they can damn sure be there when a store calls them because that's what they're paid to do is respond to calls from the public.

Expecting a store to hire their own security at a gas station is it ridiculous failure of the local police
