It's amazing that every pregnancy doesn't end in abortion. Why would any woman want to take the risk?

Well if they want to have a baby, I don't see the big problem with not being able to get an abortion.

Otherwise they can get their tubes tied.

What's so horrible about having the baby a few years ahead of schedule?

While pregnacy can carry some [slight] risk, a woman rarely ever knows when a particular pregnancy is going to run into problems until it happens. In fact, if a woman has a pregnancy earlier in her life (like when she's 20 ) any risk is likely to be lower than if she waits.

She was 40. My guess is that she delayed having children in favor of her career and moved herself right into the high risk pregnancy category as part of her life-style choice.

I imagine the risk would be very low for you in the waiting room

So ironic, she devoted the entire first part of her life to saving lives and then she ended up dying because she waited so long to have a baby.

The complete and utter lack of even any semblance of compassion for the loss of her life is duly noted.

Oh, there still are those who hate women so much they want to deny what women go through....They denigrate women so much that they try to say big feet and stretch marks are the only thing women have to worry about.....guess that's all the woman in the OP had to worry about...just bigger feet and stretch marks...

How ironic we are talking about a woman who devoted her to life to SAVING lives.

I guess somehow pro-choicers don't see that part of the story.

I wouldn't call it ironic. She of all people would have known the risk I would imagine. We will see more of this as people defer child-bearing until they are old and settled and bored.

    What's ironic about it?

Everybody dies eventually whether they save lives or not....there's nothing ironic about people dying ....why would you say that ?????

Have you noticed that no Anti-Choicer has said ," OH, women can DIE from pregnancy and that's a bad thing"

NOPE, no Anti-Choice has said that....I wonder why....
