Most people don't care. The people caught up in a 24/7 news bubble are very small. They are the loudest on both sides of the aisle, but normal people think they are crazy regardless of what they think about specific issues.
This reflects the strategy and hope for the Democrats. If they stonewall the laptop investigation long enough, the public for forget about it or assume that nothing illegal occurred. Richard Nixon hoped to do the same thing, but the news media was not on his side. The slow drip of information from bank records plus the desire that Democrats have to replace Biden gracefully might be the path to easing him out of a run for a second term. The smoking gun will be it is found that Biden somehow took delivery of some of the money. The shaft will open for Biden if he didn’t declare it as income on his taxes.
What crimes did Biden committ? Did Trump not committ a crime? Show us the distinction between the two.
No one? You need to be careful of using descriptions like “no one.” I’ve learned that lesson. Perhaps you should rephrase that as “no woke Democrat is interested in the laptop,” although too is untrue. There are woke Democrats who know that what is on that laptop is true. Those better informed Democrats would like to do what Hillary did; take your “bleachbit” and make sure you have a hammer handy just in case there is any evidence left.
Obviously i don't mean "no one", the MAGA crowd will always care, and every woke liberal will never care. Everyone else won't care because there isn't going to be anything shocking come out. The standard for shocking has become so extreme over the past 20 years, that nothing on the laptop is going to be enough for them to stop talking about the masked singer.
Your side does not seem to be interested in learning if Biden did commit a crime. If the laptop would exonerate him, why not process it and get message out there. If you want Biden exonerated, why don’t you demand that the laptop be processed? Have your handlers or editorial writers told you not do that? As for Trump, he has not been convicted of anything. I know you have some things percolating in the pot, and I wouldn’t mind if he didn’t get the Republican nomination. Still, all you have is “Trump is a crook!” You have nothing else.

"Investigations", or lack of, is the distinction between the two.... Joe has had no investigations Trump has had many... Joe Biden and Hunter has national security issues that need addressed... an investigation by a responsible lawful DOJ would look into why the vice president using a unofficial pseudonyms on e-mails (Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov) would be getting phone numbers emailed from the VP official office and share it with his son... containing phone numbers for the Clintons, Secret Service officers and most of the Obama cabinet... As Trumpets so often pointed out - it is next to impossible to start a criminal investigation of a sitting President. The DA's had to wait till Trump left office to start the investigations. I have no trouble with Biden being investigated. Right now, it's Trump's turn. Hush money payments from campaign funds (Trump was stupid, he should have just paid her from his own funds). Trump should have never personally called the Georgia Sect of State demanding votes be found (another stupid decision). Jarad should never have accepted the $2 Billion in funding from the Saudis. Biden's turn will come.
