I was forced to be Catholic when I was a child and when I became an adult I renounced Catholicism. It isn't just because of the child molestation thing though it was a big part

 

I am agnostic so I generally dislike organized religion but Catholic’s really need to take a look at what is acceptable within their organization, I find it so strange that two same sex adults wanting to start a family is splitting so many churches but child rape... doesn’t seem to be a big deal.

 

seems like from a pedophiles perspective the Catholic church is the perfect place to be because you will get access to all the children you want to molest you will have a global organization fighting to protect you and you have the camaraderie of all the other pedophiles. All this from an organization that thinks it's sinful to beget and somehow gay people are responsible for this it's hilarious to listen to this sort of mental gymnastics. It would be a comedy routine if it wasn't so horrible

 

I know that with Catholicism they brain wash you. They actually believed that if the pope sits on a magic chair he's speaking as God. and with your Catholic you are told not to question you question your questioning God. The church was started by Jesus not Constantine somehow.

They pump you full of misinformation and if you bring up stuff like Constantine or the council of nicea point out that the church is only seventeen hundred years old they will simply state that that's not true and it started with Peter.

I'm sure other religions do this but I've only had experience with Catholicism.

Also with the do as I say not as I do component of the Catholic Church, for hundreds of years they operated with impunity even influencing government. They might still do that in certain parts of the world I'm not sure.

 

That's all of them. They all want to cover it out because they don't want the negative press. They have to maintain this appearance of being a beacon of morality if they're going to try and be arbiters of morality.
