Dude, if masks are the preventative why did it take seven months or more for it to blow through the white house staff? Sweden is back to normal and mask usage is lower than anywhere in the west? It would appear that what ever you do there is a small chance you'll get covid mask or no mask, Spain with massive lock downs and stringent mask requirements is getting hammered, Sweden which did neither is now doing just fine.

It cannot in today's age. I don't think we have a way to reverse engineer an antibody and then build it in a production type environment. It would be cool if we could do that because doctors would not have to rely on a patients immune system to create the antibodies.

It might help by making the testing of a vaccine safer. In some cases where the patient has difficulty building antibodies, a transfusion of blood from someone who survived covid can help fight off the virus long enough for their body to respond.

As for Bill Maher's comment, yes, I saw it when he has said that, multiple times, but that is because everything that would normally bring down a politician for such gross incompetence as Trump has done would be career-ending.

I apologize, but I get frustrated by the scientific misinformation that is posted on here. The post I was responding to claimed that Trump's antibodies would help Trump haters to get treatment. That is just a preposterous mis-representation of the science. Yes, antibodies can be made en masse. Those will not be Trump's antibodies. They will be generated in a lab, as recombinant antibodies, like the ones that Trump was getting from Regeneron.
