    The experiences I described were in elementary school. These were children. This was 40+ years ago before free healthcare and free Covid cash.

    Sorry, I was busy trying to stay alive to ask which gang members were born here and which ones were brought here. Supporting illegal immigration, DACA, free healthcare for illegals, Covid cash, etc is a position of luxury. We can test your support by asking you to move to these areas. Are you willing to relocate?

    But DACA is constitutional so long as there is no Supreme Court ruling to the contrary.

    Then we should write an executive order to abolish the Supreme Court, what good has it done for us but to issue controversial 'rulings' that we are to follow that might make one side happy and the other side miserable? DACA is a political circumstance, one that needed to be decided by We the People, instead it was decided by 9 unelected officials.

    It's the furthest thing from representation of the Republic.

    Well you've got me there on that technicality. Even further demonstrates the insanity of this ruling. I think the court had an obligation to step in and say "blah blah we know you came to us with this detail but the sum total of your case is based on something that's blatantly wrong so we're striking it all down".

    I live in a city where about 7.6% of the population is undocumented, and another almost 4% are legal immigrants, mainly supported by the farm work and the beef processing plant that is here. It's not perfect, but I feel pretty safe raising my family. If we're comparing anecdotes, I worked at that plant for a bit, my wife used to teach ESL, and I've helped my in-laws do some charity work for the immigrant support groups around here. At least one of my oldest son's friends has undocumented parents. Never been the victim of a crime committed by someone in that community, nor have I really had a bad experience with any of them.

    I appreciate wanting to help others, but nothing is stopping them from helping them south of the border. In fact, there are people on this planet that can only dream of living how people live south of the US. The city I grew up in was safe on the other side of the tracks.
