the oldest person to have lived was a smoker for almost 100 years of her life, excessive smoking is bad in the same way too much sun is bad, or too much sugar is bad... to much processed food is bad..... the list goes on and on

the point is, you should not go after the gun makers or cigarette makers... it's exactly the same

You make a small point about the old smoker, yes it does happen, but it's anecdotal and made irrelevant by the typical experience of smokers.

I'm open to suggestion, but I don't see much redeeming in the use of tobacco, but it certainly is a personal choice.

As for firearms and cars and motorcycles and sky-diving, everybody knows they can kill, and they too are personal choices.

moderate smokers seem to do just fine... it's the ones that smoke excessively that seems to have the issues

one of the reasons smokers seem to live longer is it relieves stress... but it also comes with risks as do many things in life

like owning a gun, could actually make you live longer... but comes with risks

agree, all are risks, and it's a personal choice, I used to smoke, quit with ecigs, then just quit altogether, save a lot of money...

Same with guns and gun owners!

Nothing like a few hundred rounds down range to the stress out of a rough day.
