    This suggests two possibilities:

    1. You've raised your objections in an angry and self-righteous manner, in which case you need to reflect on your attitude.

    2. Your parents are gutless, and you're gonna have to grow up fast so as to become independent of them, financially and otherwise, ASAP.

In either case, the worst thing you can do is indulge in any feeling of contempt for your parents, as that will only set you on a path of senseless rebellion.

I don't consider it obnoxious.. My punctuation was deliberate

I just notice those mistakes while reading. It's not something I take special effort to do.

I don't believe this is an authentic post from a 13 year old for a second, but it's possible a slightly older sibling wrote it for the 13yr old. Or it's an older teen wanting to add drama to an authentic situation.

Even if none of it is authentic, I can easily see it happening. In my country, 13 year olds are in grade 7 and 8 (high school), and are subjected to political discussions often. They're also encouraged to participate. I know for certainty that if a child said what the OP claims was said, he or she would expect considerable negative fallout - from staff AND students.

Exactly like I said the threats from other students might have caused the school to come up with the 'cultural intolerance' label in order to remove him from the school and the possible violence from other students which would cause untold liability for the school. Otherwise the school would have to 're-educate' the majority to be tolerant and they probably have no desire to do that.

Pardon me, I do hope you won't mind my pointing it out, but you dropped the 'g' from 'Reading' but omitted the apostrophe to replace it; [IMG] you dropped the 'g' from 'Writing' but you did insert an apostrophe to replace it so that's alright; [IMG] And you dropped the first 'A' in 'Arithmatic', and the second 'a' should be an 'e'.** [IMG]

** You should've played safe and just said 'Math'?

I doubt if the OP is really 13 or African American. His English is too good for a 13-year-old student of African descent and not many of his age can understand what cultural intolerance actually means.

    Dear Foolardi,

I am in fact 13 years old and I do have the ability to write sentences pertaining to a topic. I don't like to brag but I scored in the 99th percentile on the HGT (Highly Gifted and Talented) test. To rebuttal your other argument I was born in November of '02 meaning the school year that was already in session when I turned 4 was no longer available for me to enter. In my school there is a class called social studies, In this class we mostly learn about history. Sometimes we discuss modern day politics but we don't dive into the really controversial topics like abortion and what not. The teacher always keeps the debates under control. Just because I'm too young for politics doesn't mean i cant be interested in them, your opinions don't dictate my hobbies.

I take the posts saying I'm a fake as compliments. Honestly I'm flattered that so many people like my English. I would assume cultural intolerance means being intolerant of certain cultures since those are the two words in the phrase and i know how words work. Guys seriously I'm a kid with good English get over it a focus on the actual post.

I really should but my suspension is over and they'll probably think I'm just some kid who did something wrong and just doesn't want to admit it.

Your claims are entirely plausible. My youngest son tested as, "gifted," in: art, music, and literature. Prior to that his 3rd grade short stories and music compositions were so well crafted that they were cause for teacher-parent meetings in which we were accused of drafting his creations for him. He remained in gifted programs throughout his secondary education and auditioned for, and was accepted into, Shenandoah Music Conservatory with a full-ride scholarship during his senior high school year. So there's no scholastic reason folks shouldn't believe you are genuine.

Still, it doesn't make sense that your school could get away with a suspension against you for expressing your views if you did so in a civil manner. That will forever taint your academic record. Since you're willing to express yourself on this forum maybe you should also be bold enough to contact your local Civil Liberties Union and see if they are willing to make your case a spectacle. Could be very exciting and you would learn a lot about how the constitution and legal precedent are supposed to dictate judicial conclusions.

In the meantime why not elaborate on your views on this forum regarding BLM and other topics which you are reportedly banned from discussing in school? For example, do you feel that African Americans are being unjustly treated in America today? Or is violence the only observation you make regarding BLM?

I could be 12 years old, and you wouldn't really know. But one can suspect based on the posting.

Between you and me, I don't think the OP and his post are legitimate.

From what I went through in High School in NYC, it is entirely possible, you had to toe the Liberal part line in every way, I wanted good grades, and by keeping my true opinions to myself, I did very well by parroting the Part line.

Gun control was one subject you had to parrot word for word.
