    Norway to boost protection of Arctic seed vault from climate change
    20 May 2017 - Norway is boosting the flood defences of its Global Seed Vault on the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard after water entered the entrance tunnel last year.

    That is a good thing. Biodiversity needs to be preserved.

    Hope it gets colder soon. The Svalbard seed vault is a pretty great example of proper public spending.

    Constructed for as little as $9 000 000, and kept running by Norwegian funding. And for of this pretty small price, we improve food security for the entire world.

    There should be another vault too though, for genetically modified seeds. Maybe put that one on Svalbard too, great location.
