Sweden's handling of the immigration crisis is immoral, ineffective and dangerous

Sweden doesn't verify the ages of asylum seekers claiming to be underage. people below 18 are considered children and entitled to additional care. Sweden is letting actual children live together with adult males in child-refugee housing. Unsuprisingly, we have many reports of sexual harassment.

Sweden does little to verify if refugees are genuine. Sweden has limited resources and cannot afford to take in everyone. When we say yes to someone with no real need for asylum, we say no to genuine refugees.

Sweden doesn't check the backgrounds of people comming in. Many genuine refugees have found that the very people they were fleeing from have also come to Sweden. Sweden lets in people who have commited war crimes.

Sweden has cut its foreign aid budget to pay for immigration to Sweden. unhcr reported it fell short by millions for helping the refugees in the middle east, who make up the vast majority of refugees. Sweden instead chose to spend their money on helping the much fewer who made it to Sweden. With the same amount of money, Sweden chose to help fewer people.

Sweden will have to make cuts across the board to pay for immigration, and raise taxes or borrow much money.

Sweden is letting through many terrorists. Our police can barely cope with everyone that's comming, the intelligency agency has said terrorists are definitely comming and urged the migration agency to screen them carefully, but they instead rush people through as fast as possible to avoid huge queues. Hundreds of swedes have left for Syria, and many have returned.

Most of the refugees belong to groups which are already very segregated in Sweden, and which we have major social problems with already. Our problems with this are only going to get worse.

Sweden has a very inflexible labour market, and is among the worst in getting immigrants to work. Coupled with that, Sweden has very a very generous and inclusive welfare system. The refugees will likely lead to increased expenditure on benefits, and more problems in segregated areas.

Most refugees have low education, and Sweden's economy is very advanced, requireing very high education. We have no need for additional low education workers. We already have a huge surplus and high unemployment for young people and low educated.

The gender balance of the refugees comming to sweden are so skewed that it will alter the gender ratio in some age cohorts to 116 men per 100 women. Lots of sexually frustrated young men is a recipe for trouble.

many of the refugees are young men, and they come from misogynist cultures. There a clearly visible culture clash, just lok at "we are stockholm".

By being such an attractive magnet, with generous benefits and lax immigration laws Sweden (and other countries) make people risk their lives on dangerous journeys, leading to many deaths.

It can be summed up as being naive and reckless. We hurt the ones we are trying to protect, and we hurt ourselves too. We are making sure Sweden will have major social problems with unintegrated immigrants and young men in the future. This couldn't have been handled worse.
