And isn't it amazing how things have improved under a Federal Labour Government, which declared, amongst other doublespeak:

- we will NOT impose a Carbon Tax (doublespeak for 'just wait until we are elected and then we will tell you the truth');

- we will shower you with a deluge of money, even if it leads to outrageous, extravagant expenditure, and even death, a prime example being the death of two 'untrained' young people installing pink bats.

- We will allow anyone into this country and sort it out after they arrive, and after we have spent thousands of dollars in accommodation and endless legal fees fighting the avaricious legal beagles.

What a pathetic Federal Government!

What does any of that have to do with the subject of this thread? I am talking about dingbat talk-back radio hosts. I am talking about public figures being inflammatory, hostile, and out of bounds towards the prime minister.

What does any of your post have to do with the conduct of radio hosts / public figures towards our prime minister? Are you trying to infer, by way of your negatively-geared post, that a radio host is entitled to be inflammatory and hostile towards the prime minister? That it's okay for a radio host to call for the prime minister to be shoved in a chaff bag and thrown out to sea? To yell at a prime minister for being 10 minutes late is okay for you? And calls for assassination appearing in radio / print are okay, too?

Are you trying to tell me that there has never been a radio host on the Left side of politics that was not hostile to a Liberal PM? You evidently never listened to Red Kerry when he hosted the 7.30 report on 'Our ABC'. And a number of other journos on the ABC were not far behind. A certain ex ABC reporter who took the seat of Bennelong from JH comes to mind. Remember her? Fortunately her constituency soon came to their senses and gave her the almighty flick to oblivion!


And no I don't listen to Jones as I find him too opinionated, same as Red Kerry. but on the other side of poltics.

 

Unlike those from the Loony Left, I didn't keep a grab bag of quotes from those who constantly berated and used vile language (verbally and in the print media)in their hatred of JH when he was the PM. And he took it all with courtesy and respect, which is more than anyone say about his opponents.

I want to know - since you're complaining about Kerry O'Brien - did Kerry O'Brien state - was he ever so blatant - as to do similar such as stating on air he wanted to dispose of the prime minister at sea? Or yell because the prime minister was 10 minutes late for an interview? Are you suggesting Kerry O'Brien showed the same level of contempt and LUNACY as per those examples I gave?

OR did he attack "policies" rather than make GRUBBY personal assaults of a prime minister as dingbats like Jones do?

I'd still like some specific examples if you are suggesting the ABC makes comments akin to the putrid depths of slime of Alan Jones, et all of the loony bin.
