I think this sums up your arguments beautifully. Anything good happens, everyone else gets the credit. Anything bad happens, Tebow gets the blame. Not surprised, just surprised you admitted it.
Banging ones head against the wall seems more efficient than arguing with some of the nonsense/hatred that gets spewed considering Tim Tebow. When I was a kid, I couldn't stand John Havlicek, JoJo White & Dave Cowens (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar fan, Celtic hater here). But as I grew up, I realized that even though those three players may not be the most talented players, by my standards at least, they were amazing in what they did & I'd go to war any day with them. Hard workers & competitors to the max. There can honest criticism of Tebow, but the Haters need to grow up.
Tebow played a pretty good game, especially considering the defense he was up against. Not that I care because I'm no Steeler fan, but the game winning TD should have never happened, at least on that particular play. Denver only had 6 men on the line when the ball was snapped. Thats on the refs though.
I didn't catch that, but if that's true, it's in a long line of BS, bad, blown or missed calls. I saw three face masks that weren't called, the lateral call that was blown & a bogus roughing the QB(Tebow) call that was bogus. Overall, not a good day for the refs, IMO.
I know that the refs can't catch everything, but I would think in OT when there are only 6 men on the line that it's an easy call, as easy as it gets. The image of the formation is online if you want to check it out. That being said, it wasn't the reason that the coverage completly broke down and Denver scored.
The Broncos might give the Patriots a far better game than most think; hence Brady will have to get a lot of points on the board. Maybe Tebow is a gunslinger and had to be let loose for the long bombs. perhaps the coaching staff, though competent had him reined in too much. Sure, his throws are sometime not beautiful, and he has difficulty reading NFL defenses, but there is something abiout the young man that inspires his team and fans.
