Cruz is nothing but a christofascist demagogue. There's no excuse for supporting him. If he's in power, that's a danger to women, LGBT people, and the nonreligious.
I dislike Cruz as much as any one can dislike a politcian. This is just vapid blather that adds nothing to respectable political discourse.
You have no proof defending your OPINIONS because no proof exists. You can make those claims, lets see you defend them. What exactly is the danger to women, LGBT people, and atheists?????????????? Lets move past talking about and get to brass tacks. Defend your claims if you can! - - - Updated - - - If you hate him so much, why cant you articulate why?
I can articulate why, but I didn't because articulating why wasn't necessary to make my point that Cruz going on Obama care isn't a valid reason to attack him.
For one thing, he wants to outlaw same sex marriage. He also makes his heinous fundamentalism the center of his campaign. When his religion is so misogynistic and homophobic, and he's so dedicated to theocracy, how can we expect him to not be a misogynistic homophobe?
FALSE! He has said publicly that he wants to leave the gay marriage issue to the STATE VOTERS to decide....not the federal government. More opinions, no proof.
I think this is a -great- talking point for the left to blare out all over the leftosphere. The stellar logic that obeying a law one wants to repeal before it actually is repealed is somehow hypocritical will surely drive millions of voters in the center to voting Democrat, and will surely breathe new life into the Democratic message. Go for it! Godspeed, lefties!
The upside is you didn't call him a racist, or is that coming later? Anyway, it seems to me candidate Obama was against SSM and the left still voted for him.
How is it hypocritical? He no longer has employer required insurance from his wife, so he has to, or pay a fine. The law is the law, and the law was written requiring Congress to use Obamacare if they wanted employer based insurance.
Yeah, just like the confederate wanted slavery to be up to the states. It's thinly veiled homophobia and I can't trust the man.
What other option did people have? It was the lesser evil. In a short few years, America has shifted away from bigotry, and now we have a better choice
We will just have to agree to disagree but I would recommend that you rethink your priorities. If gay people getting married is the biggest issue you see in this country I would say that is quite concerning.
You got penalized before ACA when those who didn't have insurance, showed up to the hospital, couldn't pay, and passed that amount onto the rest of us who could pay. [/quote]
My first priority is preventing a state in which I'm a second class citizen. If Cruz gets the theocracy he wants, it'll get worse than just denial of marriage
And since 87% of ObamaCare enrollees are fully or partially subsidized, the amount is still passed on to us hard working taxpayers.
Thanks for helping reinforce my argument. By virtue of your own statement, nothing has changed and we are forced to pay as we always have. See how easy that was?
Or he could KEEP his wife's insurance by using the COBRA. Instead he chose to suck on the government's teat like a typical Tea Bag Brotherhood HYPOCRITE!
Yeah, you do. Because I can't see it as any more hypocritical than a candidate campaigning on higher taxes paying the current tax rates; or a candidate campaigning on cutting taxes paying the current tax rates.
And if he didn't receive healthcare insurance from his employer, >>>MOD EDIT Off Topic Removed<<< Hey, now that you brought up hypocrites, you remember the Bush tax cuts and how the Dems were against them? Well, how many democrats you think turned them down? LOL
