Teen in custody after fatal shooting of beloved Alabama sheriff ‘Big John’ Williams at gas station

“An 18-year-old suspect is in custody after a beloved Alabama sheriff was killed in the line of duty at a gas station on Saturday night.

Lowndes County Sheriff “Big John” Williams, as he was known, was fatally shot at a QV station in Hayneville, according to authorities. Gunman William Chase Johnson was captured at the same location following a manhunt that lasted a few hours.

“Details as to how he fled the scene and then reappeared at the scene, all that’s going to be investigated,” State trooper Sgt. Steve Jarrett told TV station WSFA.”

This seems to be an interesting case because none of the usual cop-lovers have weighed in and condemned the cop killer. I wonder why?

Here is an update on the case. The killer is the son of a Montgomery County sheriff’s deputy. He returned to the scene of the crime with the gun, maybe looking for someone else to murder. Now if he had been a cop himself he could claim that he shot the black guy because he feared for his life and he would have gotten a paid vacation for his trouble. He might be in trouble over this because the victim was the sheriff.

When cops shoot someone, especially a black person, people jump right in and immediately blame the victim and praise the cop. In this case no one had opened a thread about it, although it was in the news, and once I started this thread it had a couple dozen views before anyone made any comment. In fact, I made the second comment 16 hours and 16 minutes after the OP.

I'll bet that when the next thug cop blasts a black victim that countless posters will sing the cop's praises. It is what people do. Despite the propaganda, there is no equal justice in America.

Some seemed obsessed with local news when cops are killed . If the cop is black and the killer white. A black cop being killed by another black isnt posted generally.
