The biggest recruitment tool for terrorists is and always has been the Israel/Palestine issue. Solve that, and we go a long way to solving terrorism.

Me too, and I am not seeing it here. Why do you feel we owe something to them after pouring a trillion dollars and 2400 American lives into that country? Please explain why we should stay there forever?

What is the difference? They are different people. Some arabs (like Bin Laden) did fight with Taliban against the Soviets, but they are different people nonetheless.

Putin was voted in by the Russian people, so it's not a dictatorship. We on the other hand are controlled by oligarchs and are turning into a liberal totalitarian state reminiscent of the Soviet Union. So for us to judge other nations and tell them what to do is foolish.

    How do you do?

Putin also imprisons or kills his political opponents. Kind of easy to win that way.

We have already established they are different people - one named Fred and the other Achmad - just like the person sitting next to you in Church is a different person .. and like that person sitting next to you in church - Fred and Achmed go to the same church.

You brought up "Sharia" as a difference .. and a good thing to bring up .. as this distinquishes a nut job from someone who is not.

In terms of Sharia enforcement .. what is the difference between ISIS - Taliban and beloved El Saud ?

Frankly, I think we left Afghanistan to throw that part of the world, and especially Russia in turmoil. Why were we there? Probably for their mineral deposits. Looks like they'll be going to Turkey - although I'm sure China would like to grab them.

Of course we should have left Afghanistan, but couldn't it have been better planned? Russia has closed its border, so the refugees will go pouring into Turkey and they in turn will send them into Greece and Bulgaria with whatever means possible. Greece has enough problems as it is with all the migrants and the terrorists embedded with them, and they can't handle more. Nor can the EU.

All of what we did for them has been nullified by the way we abandoned them to the Taliban. There was a way to get them out, but that would have required announcements to our US citizens and allies who were likely to be killed if caught by the Taliban, MONTHS AGO. But that would have undermined confidence in the Afghan government. So they acted fake for months, pretending the Afghan government wasn't going to collapse. The problem with that strategy, as we obviously see now, is that by misleading people about the risk, they have ensured thousands of Americans and allies stayed doing their jobs, when they really should have been preparing to leave 2 months ago. And now here we are with tens of thousands at the mercy of the Taliban.

Afghanistan was never a war to be won but a frontier to be defended. Smart guys at the Pentagon saw this after 9/11 when they coined the term The Long War. A commitment of many decades is called for, perhaps a century. What is the frontier? The divide between civilization and barbarism. Defending the former is very much in our own interest.
There is a model for this effort: the Brits' Northwest Frontier Force in the 19th century.

According to our propaganda networks Putin is killing them, except that the opponents he is supposedly killing, were never opponents in the first place since they had about a 3% following. They failed in their missions of toppling Putin, so their foreign backers killed them or tried to, since they were worth more dead than alive for the anti Putin publicity it would give them.

Navalny's didn't manage to stop the new Russian Constitution from being voted in, which hinders the Western liberal ideologies from entering the Russian Federation, so they gave him an excessive amount of insulin to take for his diabetes. The Russian doctors saved him, so he went to Germany where they made up tales about him being poisoned.

Since the foreign agents couldn't kill Navalny again without it looking suspect, they gave him another chance, so he made a video about Putin. The Russian people knew it was a pack of lies, so he failed again and went back to Moscow and is now in jail for having skipped the country when he was told not to.

Our propaganda networks keep on adding one lie on top of the other, until they all become ridiculous. A little common sense here wouldn't hurt you know.

???? The Saudis are the embodiment of Islamic separation of church and state. The anti caliphate. Abd al-Wahhab and Muhammad Bin Saud made the deal back in the 1700s, giving the house of Wahhab authority over all spiritual matters while the house of Saud ruled over all temporal matters.

It had nothing to do with civilization and barbarism, but only with Britain's power and survival as an empire. Otherwise why would Britain support the Ottoman Empire against Imperial Russia in the Crimean war when they had no interests in the Black Sea?

Certainly Russia was much more civilized than the Ottomans - or at least according to our concepts of civilization. Had Britain not supported the Ottomans, and allowed the Christian majority in Constantinople to regain control, millions would not have been massacred in the ensuing generations.

According to science no one can speak to the dead because they're dead. Bill was making a joke in that clip, and the crowd laughed. I laughed. No one is talking to demons or Thor or Snoopy, unless you can prove otherwise.

Asked and answered. If you want to see them all as ISIS, even if they are not, then so be it. I am not trying to persuade you to agree with me.

It was announced over a year ago when US agreed to leave and put Taliban in power, but those people refused to leave.

Would you have stayed knowing Taliban was taking over? I would have left.

Bill Clinton wasn't joking, he was dead serious because necromancy aka 'spiritual guides', is alive and well among Hillary's Hollywood peers. Think Linda Evans and Shirley Maclaine. Shirley has plenty of books out there to confirm her beliefs.

The laughter when Bill Clinton said that Hillary talks to Eleanor Roosevelt, sounded very much like an embarrassed; "what in the world did Bill say" to me.

The fools, they think they're being real..

But fools they were and fools they'll be
for they have eyes but cannot see,
and think that playing evil games
will bring them power, wealth and fame.

Vladimir Putin says he’s not allowing Afghan refugees into Russia

    August 22, 2021

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Sunday that his country won’t accept Afghan refugees because he doesn’t want to deal with “militants” masquerading as asylum-seekers.

The Russian strongman slammed Western nations for placing Afghan refugees in countries even near his border while their US and European visas are being processed.

“Does that mean that they can be sent without visas to those countries, to our neighbors, while they themselves don’t want to take them without visas?” Putin raged to the Russian TASS news agency. “Why is there such a humiliating approach to solving the problem?’

He said he will not accept “militants showing up here under cover of refugees.”

    Why should he?
Russia is not the only country that is shutting its borders. Many nations are, and I don't blame them. Greece is panicky that Turkey will be smuggling them onto their islands, and today they said they have no idea how many militants are already in Greece. People have been finding gasoline canisters in the burnt forests, so who exactly was setting those fires?
Washington causes the problems in the world, and then throws them onto others. Russia has an obligation to protect the borders of countries like Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and it's insulting that the US would think they are so stupid that they don't know why the US is placing them near their borders while they prepare visas for a certain few. So where are the rejects going to go?

Because dear Vladimir, it's part of our foreign policy not to work with others as you had once suggested to solve the problem, but to insult and humiliate anyone who isn't subservient. It's called diplomacy mafia style.

    Would we?
