It was a crime in the same way as small terrorists acts done by Muslims in Europe are a crime. However it, like them is being treated as terrorism and has resulted in an emergency meeting of Cobra, one of the things I believe which will be discussed is the danger presented to Muslims due to the increase in hate crime and making sure they are safe. That ethnic hatred is reflected in this thread.
