Can you be more specific? Is it your job to deal with the mentally ill?

That is interesting, there more than 50 million interactions cops have with citizens every year. Out of all those interactions, less than 1,000 people end up dead. Given that there is a 100% chance that the cops will kill a person for some perceived threat, that means that in less than 1,000/50,000,000 (.002%) of those encounters the cops perceive a threat. It seems really difficult to force cops to perceive a threat doesn't it?

There's nothing more tiresome about the left than their complete inability to just respond to what was said.

Could you point it out where someone said the family should be grateful?

Try reading this thread instead of writing rubbish!
Post 39: "How ungrateful and hypocritical can people be?"
Post 48 : "They called the police for help because they couldn't deal with their mentally ill relative and then complain when they do what's necessary."

And my post directly responded to what was said! Do you struggle with reading comprehension?

Nobody said the family should be grateful that the man died....NOBODY.

Do you struggle with reading comprehension? It was CRYSTAL CLEAR that the posts were not saying they should be grateful that he died...CRYSTAL CLEAR. Both were referring to the police coming to help.

YOU twisted it so you could insult someone.

Sorry, nobody said this....no matter how bad you want it to be true.

Which bit of "How ungrateful and hypocritical can people be?" do you not understand? Should the family have thanked the officer after the shooting? ReasonalRob even said that the officer did what was necessary!

Stop.....You can't pretend something was said that wasn't. Nobody claimed that the family should be grateful that the person died. "That the person died" is what YOU threw in so you could be insulting. It was never said. The 'being grateful' part was clearly in reference to the police showing up to help. This was clear. That you want to twist it just so you can be insulting towards someone is on you. If that's who you are and how you want to be, fine. I choose not to purposefully take people out of context just so I can insult them. But hey, we're different that way I guess.
