LOL, gotta luv Texas politics. Rick Perry handled it very well when members of his own party drowned him out today in Fort Worth. I like Cruz, too... if I'd been there, I'd have joined in. Cruuuuuuuuuuzzz Gonna be a close race, no matter which one you're pullin for.
These state political conventions can be really rowdy affairs. We had a convention some time ago where the delegates were throwing ice cubes at one of the candidates. Crazy stuff...
Perry always draws a mixed crowd (although I've never seen it in his own party). In my own house, for example, I vote for him and my SO votes for anybody but him. I attribute some of it to his good looks.
Good! It's a sign that things won't be easy for Republican, business as usual, candidates. The Tea Party continues its take over of the old-school Republican party with new-school replacements. I think it will make things better for America this way.
Couldn't agree more. Dewhurst put out some nasty ads about Cruz, accusing him of everything from supporting Obama to being in bed with China. But Palin endorsed him. As bad as the Dims wanted her to disappear, she never really did, did she?
