Because contrary to unpopular liberal belief, Conservatives are mature and don't find liberals important enough to waste their time on. Their protests remind me of something the nerds at my old high school would have done because they didn't get their way or like something that they didn't have to attend. By nerds, I don't mean the smart people, I mean the actual nerds that nobody liked or hung out with or asked for help. Even the stereotypical nerds thought these people were nerds. It was basically all the rejects in one group.

 

If there was someone accused of being a pedophile at a Trump event, all the major news networks, and PARTIZAN, would be calling all Trump supporters, supporters of pedophiles. Funny that he makes a joke about it.

Remember Tea Party rallies filled with families and some people magically show up with some nasty signs, making sure to get in front of the cameras and guess what we see on TV or Youtube? As we've seen, when leftists assault defenseless conservatives, it gets no press. Then when conservatives defend themselves, the media all run to pin blame on the conservatives. It's been working for them pretty well, so far. Only recenrly, has there been some mild pushback. Over all, the leftist campus, government, and media officials are pretty happy to give it some lip-service, then allow the status-quo to remain.

As for your question? I do not know what that person is implying...I would have to ask them. But I also would not care, since they are probably a political nobody (like you and me).
But I do care very much what the POTUS FROMST (Fat Racist Old Moronic Senile Trump) says. And when he is making comments as the POTUS to the press...I take him literally (unless he immediately says he was joking which - to my knowledge - he did not do here).
Were I POTUS, I would expect no less treatment of what I said.
