Second opinions can be life saving. Why would anyone take a drug without researching it? I don't even take supplements without Googling the side effects. Yet, there are those that are too lazy to research something. That's entirely their fault.

 

true-however, 4 or so years ago, there was all sorts of conflicting "advice" and if someone was not improving with the current protocols, I can see them trying something else especially if someone with medical credentials suggested it. I remember during the height o the AIDS Crisis (my HS class was small-one of our more popular members died of AIDS-he was a leader in the black gay community and died at the tail end of the epidemic in 91 or so) dying AIDS patients were trying all sorts of things-in the USA that included Radon gas enemas! In africa people believed that having sex with a virgin would help them-all it did was led to lots of teen girls getting infected.
