North Carolina had phony classes for athletes for 20 years. Miami has been on probation repeatedly, and they're going back on probation once again. Louisville was already on probation, now the FBI is going after them. Can you say, "Death Penalty"? Today they canned their athletic director and head basketball coach. Very slimy people.
The ACC is just wretched. Miami has a long history of breaking rules with its football program. For 20 years, North Carolina had imaginary classes for its football players (no professors, no books, no students), but somehow passing grades appeared on their transcripts. Louisville is just a rogue athletic program that gives its recruits hundreds of thousands of dollars, hookers, etc. It's just a horrible situation. Now the FBI is involved.
Don't forget Free Shoes University. I'm a Michigan fan. We have been relatively free of scandal and still playing with the big boys.
The FBI has already charged assistant coaches at Auburn, Arizona, USC and Oklahoma State. Pitino and Louisville haven't as of yet. 2 Pac 12 colleges, 1 from the Big 12 and 1 SEC school. Wouldn't these other conferences also or should be included your scummy conference list? Now there will be a lot more schools to come.
The "P-5" is extremely scummy. But the ACC raises it to a new level with so many bad scandals. Miami and Louisville are always being placed on probation or just getting off probation. North Carolina has had phony classes for 20+ years. The ACC should have taken UConn or West Virginia instead of Miami, Louisville, or Boston College (which loses at record levels).
UConn is a perfect academic and basketball match for the ACC, but WVU would be the perfect football match.
