Because this is a political forum and I'm a huge supporter of the First Amendment, what theists think is very important to me.

MORE DISHONEST and Unsourced "Quote Mining".
No Link for the ostensible 'quotes' taken from some creationcyst website.
That is, Using OUT of Context quotes (some perhaps phony) to give the FALSE impression as to the actual beliefs of the quotees.

This is a DISHONEST Creationist/Religionist Tactic (found on several of their websites) (and near HALF ChemEngineers posts on Science/Religion).
    A form of..
    Lying for Jesus.

Thread title- The Anti-Science of Atheism
    -----------------------------------------------------

Haha yes, the Bible is full of close encounters between humans and offworld beings, and Jesus himself said he was an alien with awesome powers, yet instead of open-mindedly and scientifically checking him out, atheists dismiss him out of hand and turn their telescopes to the skies, wondering if there are alien civilisations out there and if they've ever visited earth!
I've got news for them- they've been and gone, at least for now..:)
Jesus said- "I'll be back" (Mark 13:26)

I heard some chap put some monkeys and an equal number of typewriters in a room and the only thing the monkeys did was to **** on the typewriters.

I never thought much of the monkey deal, creating the works of Shakespeare by chance. Mostly because there is a problem with an infinite amount of time. That is like saying if a frog had wings, he would not bump his ass. To say, given an infinite amount of time, when infinite time is not even known to exist, kinda spoils the argument for me.

That's your opinion. Atheists habitually argue with utmost disregard for real scientific discovery, which is to say a search for truth (scientia), the root word of science. Now you are arguing with atheists, in their defense. Most likely this is because you are one.

    1. Science, per se, doesn't do "proofs."
    You do know that, right?
    2. There is a very great deal of EVIDENCE contradicting the many anti-scientific narratives of atheists.
I have shown just a small portion of that evidence for anti-scientific atheism. A very small portion.

    Fl is 0.
    Fi is 0.
    Fc is 0.

    N is 0.

Hundreds of millions of dollars squandered, for nothing.
Absence if evidence, they keep screaming, is not evidence of absence.
Unless you're talking about God. Then they say it is.

And except for the myths that those like you support, what proof do you actually have?

Not what you chose to believe but actual physical proof.

And of course the fact that these "thoughts" and "estimates" are made by humans with no actual proof is "assumed" by you to be facts.

Here is a fact Skippy, they are not facts but just guesses, from people who lack actual facts. Like you.

Since many, if not most, atheists doubt the existence of this Jesus, why should they investigate him? Trying to prove a negative?

I saw other numbers saying its more like one ,maybe two, in any middle sized galaxy since high level intelligence might be rare the shark is stupid as hell but amazingly successful. But on our planet which could be exceptional it has one intelligent advanced species - us. And the closer you get to the center of the galaxy the more hostile it is to life it might make 2/3rds of our galaxy uninhabitable.

Why? Thought experiments often include incorrect and indeed impossible things in order to make a point. By using arguments that take place in ideal conditions, you can isolate the important part of an argument, even though the ideal conditions are not true in reality.

The argument "if I had £20,000,000, I could buy a flat in London" is by no means hurt by the fact that I don't in fact have £20,000,000.

Yes, one of the practical considerations is the randomness of monkeys. The conditions of the theorem states "a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter...", so if the monkeys don't type randomly (which indeed real monkeys do not), it's not covered by the theorem.

Thousands of Christians in the first century A.D were rounded up and killed, they died for what they knew was true, but no one will die for what they know to be a lie..;)

So are all those Muslim suicide bombers dying for what they "know" or believe?

And again you let your self be led by speculation and scripted television shows that only present speculation. Time for someone other than you to control what you watch in the day room.

Since you apparently know everything about everything (or claim that you do), tell us more about what people you have never met believe and don't believe.

You are projecting your own idiocy again by claiming that those who don't blindly follow what you say al agree with what you claim they believe.

As for what I believe, the evidence is all there to believe that you are a fool who is afraid to think for yourself.

You have a degree in in the mental health field, or just lots of experience as a patient? You have no idea what anyone would do or die for. You only know that you continue to do what you are told by your betters.

But mate, any scientifically-minded person is fascinated by the possibility that ancient artifacts and things might indicate the earth has had alien visitations in the past..:)
    For example-
