As they feast on the candied carcass of Lady Liberty, the partisans of despotism giggle at their triumph in yet again sabotaging the insufferable gynecologist's kooky and outside-the-mainstream quest to save the lives of scores of Middle Eastern children and rescue the jury trial from becoming a quaint relic of a bygone age. But, in the fullness of time, their frenzy will be naught, as, one by one, the Angel of Death claims each and every soul whose mental image of a well-informed voter is Dad twisting the rabbit ears each evening at six because Cronkite is America's sweetheart. When they are gone, the Fortress of Decrepit Old State will surely fall to Crazy Old Uncle and those meddling kids. Looks like it's time...to censor the Internet
The youth, specifically 17-29, and some 30 somethings, are the only ones not corrupted and brainwashed by the system. It's funny when older people talk about how ignorant the young are, when it's the other way around
It will be interesting to see what % of Blacks vote for Obama this time. My guess is the Black turnout will go back to a near pre-Obama percent. This time the first time voters won't be 'first time voters'. They will be four years older and wiser and increasingly unemployed/under employed. Look for a second time voter percentage to return to the pre-Obama percent. The 'first time voter' who bothers to follow politics has had years of Internet access and they are keenly aware how ineffectual Obama and his ludicrous stimulus debacle was/is. Green energy? Can you spell Solyndra? Gitmo? Sorry LIBs. The 'youth vote' ain't going to be there this time.
^This. We are living in the golden age of internet right now. The elite are trying to get their hands on it. Mark my words, they are going to succeed.
Yeah, they are trying to shut the internet down to brainwash the young, because they know when the sub 18 year olds eventually come to legal voting age and when the old die off, we will have a massive advantage. Every year, a bunch of old people that are part of the establishment die off, and non brainwashed 17 year olds turn 18. They know we will eventually overwhelm them, that's why they're hellbent on censoring the internet. We can't let that happen.
http://democracysouth.org/vcmwp/?p=53 The problem is that the majority of younger voters don't vote even in the presidential elections and their representation in the primaries is basically non-existant. When it comes to Republican primaries they are basically dominated by the "Social Conservatives" comprised of the "Christian Right" that support an authoritarian role of government in establishing a goverment based upon the Bible as opposed to the US Constitution. Nice statistics but unless the younger voter choose to exercise their franchise to vote they are a meaningless group.
They're also naive. They voted for Obama last time - a Marxist. This time they got it right. Ron Paul is a man of constitutional principles - something rare indeed.
It was a lot more than just the young vote that was naive about Obama. Most people that voted for him didn't know any of his positions. All they knew was "Sarar Palin can see Russia from her house."

It is probably true that Obama won in 2008 because of the Republican candidates (McCain/Palin) presented a greater "evil" to America than Obama presented. For most voters, as in all recent elections, it was a selection of the "lesser of two evils" as opposed to voting for a candidate that would actually be good for America. It looks like that will also be the case in 2012 which is why the Republican candidates will probably lose. Ron Paul might have stood a chance against Obama but Romney and Santorum do not. They (Romney and Perry) won't capture the independent vote because of their desire to impose religious beliefs on America in violation of the Constitution and the independent vote is absolutely necessary to win the election.
