    See, this is what makes me think you know nothing of what you speak. I made a vow to serve my Bishop. And I went where he sent me.

    Do yourself a favor and quit while you're behind.

    Perhaps you should quit.

    YOU
    must have made the decision to become a Priest. You were not forced into it. You had to apply.. You also had a long period of assessments, interviews, etc where you could have changed your mind. You didn't, so now you have to follow your Bishop. Had you not made the decision you would not be a Priest or beholden to any Bishop.

    Incidentally. You don't go where your Bishop tells you if you're in the C of E.. When a Parish (or living as it used to be called) is vacated it is advertised for other Priests to apply for. As a member of a local PCC I have been involved in meeting applicants for a vacancy in the Church I was attending..
