So basically your philosophy has been LOSING for over EIGHTY YEARS? - - - Updated - - - BTW, ask Kevin if he trusts Gallup....after he cited it. Because Gallup also shows Republican approval with Americans is at ....28% and Tea Party approval with Americans is at...22% (And see how long it takes for him to criticize...the same polling company he himself cited. )
It isn't my philosophy that has been losing - it is all of us that are losing - losing our freedom. Your losing your freedom same as me, you just don't realize it. America was founded as a republic. The Constitution restricted the government, and prevented it from imposing the will of an oligarchy, or arbitrary rule of the majority. Those who wanted to wield the power of government for their own ends had to find a way to unleash the power of government - enter from stage left - democracy. As I've said, as history clearly shows, as our founders wrote much about - democracy is fundamentally unstable and not synonymous with freedom in any way. So, after 80+ years of "democracy", we are nearing the end of the line. 80 years is a very short amount of time in terms of the life and death of a nation... What Madison said in Federalist Paper #10 is absolutely true, "Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their death." The German people of 1933 didn't realize they had lost it all either. So what if a few Jews were 'inconvenienced'?? You obviously don't understand any of these things, as it is apparent that you have been robbed of a proper education, but I can assure you, you have lost everything, just as I have. We have lost our freedom - and the final days of the America given us by our Founding Fathers are coming to an end.
Conservative thought does not mean ignoring history....we do not live in the 18th century, and trying to pretend we do is an ignorant and naïve position. Our "Republic" is still a healthy one.....but things have kinda changed in the last several decades.....funny how that happens.
If you consider being in debt to the tune of 1000% of GDP "healthy"; and living under the governance of an increasingly empowered and centralized government that passes legislation that directly, and overtly, strips the citizenry of all their rights "healthy"; then yes, Amerika is "healthy". I suppose if the Barry announced that he was firing up gulags, concentration camps, and "final showers" - that would be "healthy" too, huh?? As long as it were "conservatives", and "libertarians", and "right wing extremists" that were being purged?? No nation can survive the mountains of debt, and abandonment of the rule of law that Amerika now suffers from. America is all-but finished as a free nation. Only a sick and dying nation would bankrupt itself and posterity as Amerikans are doing today. http://www.usdebtclock.org/current-rates.html $171 trillion in red ink - no worries, let someone else pay for it. Better yet, let yet to be born generations bear the burden!! Yes, that's "healthy", huh??
True, but that America no longer exists. All of the characteristics that gave those results are the target of the "fundamental transformation".
