The collusion that Trump DID commit, but did not rise to the level of criminal conspiracy, YET, has but one defense. And it is coming, full force, SOON.

    Fruit of the poisin tree.

There will be THRONGS of right wingers, calling us all Nazis, if we accrue corruption points, to all those details that will horrify us, such as when Mueller testifies. We will be implored, to discount any and all corruption, obstruction and criminality, due to the FRUIT OF THE POISIN TREE.

The ORIGINS of the STEELE dossier, will be used, BY BARR, as he is already doing, to cast a pall upon ALL conclusions, and avenues calling for further investigation.

We will be told, that since the CLINTONS paid some amount, ALONG the way, AFTER REPUBLICANS STARTED the steele dossier, it makes EVERYTHING that has occurred since then, ILLEGITIMATE, and OFF LIMITS to prosecution, and EVEN investigation.

THIS, will be said, to be DUE PROCESS. This will be called, rule of law, and the right wing will puff their chests, and act superior, as THEY follow the CONSTITUTION, and we all are BAD.

LEts discount for a minute, that Congress can look into ANY matter it chooses, what lead to an investigation, does NOT invalidate things discovered during that investigation. Particularly where national security is involved.

The right wing, has lobbied, to bust all us druggies that got popped in scam searches etc, and laughed, when we were deprived of our possessions, WITHOUT DUE PROCESS.

Funny now that the shoe is on the other foot.

Trump is GUILTY, dead to rights, but the right wing will tell us all that we are REQUIRED, by our Constitution, to deem Trump blameless for his crimes, as the ones that should be jailed, are the SECOND folks to fund the Steele dossier.

Trump should be deemed king, regardless his crimes, and the Dems should be imprisoned, regardless the crimes.

RULE OF LAW. Due Process. If we allow this farse, we DONT DESERVE our democracy.

Also consider, that public perception of criminality does NOT have to follow the LEGAL BLINDNESS of escaping prosecution.

Also consider, that the current defense is, that since there is a TRADITION, to not prosecute a SITTING PRESIDENT, that the investigation should NEVER have occurred, due to that TRADITION. The PResident, is ABOVE THE LAW.

The public perception of collusion is Trumped by the finding of no evidence.

Adam Schiff has been claiming that he has evidence...
Mark Warner has claimed that he has evidence...

You are on to something here...

Public officials who run their mouths should be REQUIRED to produce the evidence that they say does exist so they can impeach Trump immediately.

:sleepy: Trump only colluded with the FBI and Fusion GPS. All the "Russians" were employed by them.

Huge error in the document (which renders any of it with suspicion). It states that the Steele dossier was not used for a decision to investigate in late July of 2016 and received the dossier in September. The FBI received the first of the memo's July 5th, 2016 and Steele was peddling it before that, mainly to the media and why the FBI fired him but still payed him later.

The memo linked is a CYA memo but it addresses the avenue that will not be investigated. The FBI and CIA will use the 'by the book' excuse but the real issue is who started it all and how it was started.

It will come out eventually since much of it is already known but classified. Nunes is trying to get one document unclassified and public so hold onto your seat.

Join the club! We have been waiting for a plethora of bullshit touted by the Democrats from the minute Trump took the oath! And lemme tell you it been a major disappointment to say the least!

This is where the leftist conmEn recognized that they could sell FAKE NEWS, as a concept, and at no time see any of it come to fruition! Try and remember, the leftist have the stage and we are all their audience, so far the only thing more greasy then their act is the five squirt hot buttered popcorn..

Collusion isn't a crime, because it's not a legal term.

What he was being investigated for was conspiracy. And the Mueller report was clear that it had found no evidence that Trump directly conspired with Russia.

However, it also stated that Trump could not be considered exonerated because there WAS evidence that members of his staff has unethical contact with Russian officials, including intelligence agents, and close associates of Trump's who were not official members of the campaign had committed acts which could be considered conspiracy.

Mueller was referring to the various meetings that Trump staffers had with Russian spies leading up to the election. Sessions, Kushner, Flynn, and others, all met with Russian intelligence officials without disclosing those meetings to the State Department and FEC, which is illegal for members of campaigns. When the meetings became public knowledge, they lied to the FBI, State Department, and FEC, claiming first that the meetings never took place, and that others were trying to set them up, and when those lies fell through, they lied about the purpose of the meetings.

He was also referring to Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with a Russian attorney who claimed to work direct for Putin. It's been proven that Trump Jr. accepted the meeting because the attorney claimed to have access to data that had been stolen from the DNC and Clinton servers by Russian spies during the cyberattacks, and that she had been authorized by Putiin to offer the information to help Donald Trump win the election. When the meeting became public knowledge, Trump Jr. lied about it, allegedly on his father's orders, claiming that the meeting had been about restoring adoption rights for Americans in Russia, which had been shut down for several years after Obama signed a bill banning Russians who are known to be party to human rights violations from entering the US, and freezing all US assets of such persons. The adoption ban was Putin's retaliation for this law, which affects many of his close associates.

Prosecutors never exonerate anyone. They either charge or not charge so that statement by Mueller was a political statement, probably inspired by the weasel Weissmann. Mueller did not suggest any charges so it is over except for the hysterical.

Still beating the dead horse ?

You still have no evidence of any collusion.

Really? Because Barr claimed that the Mueller report exonerated Trump.

Mueller states clearly in the report that the decision to not suggest charges was an attempt to remain impartial, and that there was evidence that could support charges. He wanted to be as unbiased as possible since he himself didn't have the authority to file charges. He chose to lay out all available evidence and let congress and the DOJ decide on any charges.

Instead, Barr didn't even look at the evidence, and claimed that because Mueller didn't officially suggest charges, it meant that Trump was fully exonerated.

Even by your usual standards this is largely incoherent and irrational. It is in essence the claim that people should be impeached because some one doesn't like them.
