Not so much puzzling as appalling as the White House administration assumes everyone has a short term memory and lack comprehensive/critical thinking skills.

Time and again I've seen on TV, heard on the radio or read in the newspapers "studies" that show how alternative or homeopathic medicines that rely on vitamins and mineral supplements cannot claim any therapeutic values since the FDA has not stated such. In other words, if your company puts out a really great Vitamin C pill or chewable and you list on the bottle all the ailments Vitamin C is good for treating/preventing, the FDA will come after you to revoke those claims....even if Board certified AMA doctors back your claims. And yet I witnessed reps from the White House and such announce just the opposite regarding certain vitamins, minerals and supplements. Just saying.

How does that change any of the truth in the OP?

To your first paragraph: socialist democracy is what seems to scare the hell out of the Republican party and the Democratic National Committee...it's not pure socialism, and our gov't seems to have no problem applying such to bail out corporations and major industry...but the average working schmoe always gets the "hold it, let's think this over" approach when it comes to social services. The second part of is spot on.

As to the second paragraph: If we can get the current clowns out of office and get some REAL change (like Sanders pushes), then this would be even more standard truth.
