The DNC almost pulled off one of the most diabolical political schemes in history. They chose HRC to be their nominee long before the democrat primaries; their constituency had absolutely NO SAY in who their nominee was to be, and the primaries were all just for show. The only real competition they allowed was a geriatric socialist, Bernie Sanders, whom the DNC presumed would offer little serious competition for their anointed one, HRC. No other serious choices were presented, even though the democrats have far better candidates than either of those at their disposal. When the Sanders team began to gain some momentum, and it looked like they had a chance to present a problem, the DNC colluded with the media to shut him down, and shut him down they did. Before long, Sanders was happily and enthusiastically endorsing the DNC's candidate, and enjoying his new multi-million dollar beach mansion. HRC had become the nominee, just as the DNC knew all along she would, because they had stacked the deck to ensure it would be so. On the other side, the DNC had pegged Trump to be the least likely of the republican field of candidates to present HRC with any real opposition. He was a novice, he was buffoonish, and they had some really good dirt on him they could drop, just when the time was right. They colluded with the media to support his candidacy in every way they could in an effort to ensure he would have every chance to win the nomination, thereby paving the way for an easy and smooth HRC victory. To their delight, they had succeeded; Trump had actually become the nominee in spite of fierce opposition from many in his own party, and from the RNC! Oh happy day! But there was a little hitch in their get-a-long. Wikileaks had exposed their corruption, collusion, and crooked dealings to the American People, and the Trump team had the audacity to exploit TRUTH to their advantage; an heretofore unheard of tactic. The corruption, collusion, and cronyism. The pay-to-play selling of access to foreign powers. The labeling of half the American constituency as 'unredeemable deplorables' ....ultimately spelled defeat for HRC. Had the truth not emerged. Had the emails not been hacked and released, exposing this diabolical plan. Had HRC not been forced into making some real blunders in her campaign. Had none of these things happened, the DNC would have pulled off one of the greatest scams against the American People ever. They would have, in effect, selected both their own nominee, AND the republican opposition nominee, and thereby completely bypass the primary nomination process, rendering the voice of The People in selecting their President, null and void. And no one would have been the wiser.....
I don't get it, are you saying the DNC bribed Mr Sanders with a beach house? DO you have anything of substance to back up this theory? or did they murder his mother-in-law? The Sanders family had recently sold a lake house in Maine, which had been passed down from his wife's side of the family. I didn't say that, but it's a convenient coincidence, wouldn't you say? I would imagine it would take another insider leak to find anything of substance to back something like that up. And I further imagine that the democrats are being VERY careful about protecting their internal workings these days.
You left out the best part, the ending of the fairy tale. Hillary's worst nightmare and evil empire exposed her and her party for the scum they are. Actually, that was just a cherry on top of the sundae.
It is my hope that BOTH parties realize what this really was, and use the opportunity to acknowledge it, and take real substantive actions to shut down the corruption and cronyism that is so pervasive in our governance. I am afraid, though, that instead, they will double their efforts to repair and conceal the status-quo and return us to where we were. And, I do not delude myself that only the democrats are corrupt in this way, it was only the democrats who were exposed this time. I hope that all corruption is exposed and destroyed and that we can emerge with a better, more honest, and less dysfunctional country after it has all shaken out. - - - Updated - - - Perhaps not... but the timing makes it look like he might be.
