Islam will be the number one religion in the world.

Latino's population growth in the USA will allow Latino control in government.

Critical mass is guaranteed with over 2 billion people in China and India as they develop.

Water and oil and energy and uranium and coal and forests and raw materials will become critical issues.

With thousands of nuclear weapons in the world and bully-nations how long before the next nuclear weapon is detonated?

If climate change continues the effects of this will impact society.

The US and world economies are headed for collapse.

And...Carrot-top will probably be the president of the USA...

It is now 2015 and I don't think the USA will end three years from now.

Although I agree with you...it is interesting to me how close we teeter on the brink of disaster. In a single week or less our entire financial system can fail and place us in a deep recession or depression. Severe potable water shortages. Nuclear detonation in the US or anywhere in the world. Middle East complete meltdown. Something stupid by Russia or Israel or Iran or whomever. Major natural disasters like earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunami, volcanic eruption. A virus, bacteria on a world scale. Extraterrestrial object smashing into Earth. I'd say at best we remain quite vulnerable...quite fragile...
