Get ready because Joe Biden has picked Miguel Cardona. He has been Connecticut's education commissioner since 2019 and has been selected to be the next secretary of Education. I still don't know who the Attorney General will be.

You're right about not having the mental stability, intelligence, maturity, or wisdom, also he didn't serve in the military or had political or government experience. You're also right that he was never equipped for the job as President of the United States like his other predecessors before him. Hilary Clinton should have been elected four years ago.

I'm looking forward to who will be the next secretary of labor and Attorney General. and one other I'm not sure what that will be. I just hope they can get Trump out of the White House soon because there 26 more days left after Christmas.

Another "fine" choice for the Biden administration. Biden is too brain dead to understand the difference between the 1960's MLK "Content of our character" approach to solving racism and today's Neo-Marxist pseudo-solution of "If you're white, you're a racist."

Of course, most Democrats in the 60's voted against the Civil Rights Act, and Biden appears to have been on the wrong side of history then as he has been on most of his policy positions for half a century.

Yay, for the coming infiltration of Neo-Racism in our Federal Education curriculum. I'm sure there will be no blowback from parents when their kids come home and tell them, "Teacher says I'm a racist because I'm white." Nope. What could possibly go wrong?

    , "Teacher says I'm a racist because I'm white."

Any teacher that would articulate that , should not be teaching.

That is the very essence of Critical Race Theory. America is systemically racist because of capitalism which white Europeans brought to the country. Therefore, all white people are guilty of the systemic racism. Social justice demands that blacks and indigenous people be placed at the head of the line while white's are suppressed and pushed down. That's only fair, right?

Read up on the ideology of Ibram X. Kendi and Robin DiAngelo if you want to know where the Biden administration is about to take us. Buckle up. We're in for a wild ride and social/racial unrest never seen before in history.

Not at all. No race should be suppressed. My own hope is that time and knowledge will eventually equalize things to the point where race is irrelevant. and will not even be an issue. Society is very capable of positive change...bu tit takes time. Societal change itself is usually turbulent. Given the RC factor. ;-)

Military service seemed to have been one of your requirements for being President and you voiced a preference for Hillary. ?

Because it's NOT a Big Deal
That's the thing, I've not heard of even ONE of Biden's appointees in any real way whatsoever. They're just people who've been very quietly doing very important work for a very long time and I have no idea who they are.

They've not been buying ostrich sport coats or using the Bible to justify abducting refugee's children and they aren't Biden's son-in-law or daughter wannabe lover or anything. They're indescript civil servants. G-god knows whats pay grade, boring as your aunt's slides of Hometown Paducah.

    Isn't normal GREAT?

    It's "Lookism".
Attractive people achieve better than ugly people.

Although Asians were certainly "unattractive" 75 - 100 - 150 years ago, that doesn't seem to be the case today - or at least not as extreme. Consider the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882. And States passed their own anti Asian laws expelling all Asians even if citizens.

The Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 was the first significant law restricting immigration into the United States. Many Americans on the West Coast attributed declining wages and economic ills to Chinese workers.

However, it just may be the Black pigmentation and associated characteristics that most White & Asian persons may find find unattractive.
Could that be over come for Black people as it has been for Asians?
Asian cultures do like fairer skin.

I believe that people can overcome their racism. Both of my parents were racists though my mother was coming around near the end of her life. In young adulthood I made a conscious decision that this is not what I want to be. I think everyone should see the movie Best of Enemies. It is based on a true story from the early 1970's It gives me hope that even the worst of people can change. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4807408/

America was making progress for the last half-century.

    We're about to suffer a set-back.

Biden obviously has some advisors telling him who to pick for his administration who are not friends of America. Joe doesn't know any better. He has dementia and is completely dependent on what people tell him "is good".

If Biden does have dementia what does that day about Trump? What kind of man can't beat a 78 year old man with dementia? I'll tell you a real loser. Trumpy is the one who can't write a 140 character tweet without spelling half the words wrong. Even at half power Joe beats Donald all to hell. Donald is not a genius. In fact I suspect that his IQ is below average.

A man who doesn't have a set of party operatives in key cities stuffing the ballot boxes with illegal ballots.

~ I believe that society in general is ready to stop using "race/ethnicity/gender " etc as a label and only refer to groups based on socio economic / education/ crime as factors in judging needs and abilities. It appears that we were ready in the late 1970's - mid 1980s. However our elected government hacks in their ever expanding desire to be divisive in order to justify the need for rules, programs and taxes to remove guilt and stigma have prevented natural assimilation.
The Democrats have just put a man in top position that is everything they claim to be against : White, male, heterosexual, elderly, racist , wealthy , intolerant, chauvinistic. ( his lifestyle emits much co2 as well - anything but green )
    Go figure ... :confuse:?

Yes, but he clearly has some advisors who are illiberal Cultural Marxists as evidenced by his consideration of Miguel Cardona for Education Secretary. If Joe were charge of his mental faculties, he would never put a race-baiter and divisive person in charge of the country's education. Joe isn't personally screening any of these people. They're either old, corrupt corporatist DINO buddies of his from the elite establishment, or they are newcomers who have an anti-capitalist Marxist bent. So far, this is a mess.

I don't think I said that. Hilary had political experience as a first lady, secretary of state and a senator from New York. That's political experience. Not all Presidents were in the Military.

I doubt that will happen. but if that were to be the case, there may be chaos. But rest assured that isn't going to happen.

Well you did list it as a negative. As to political experience, that is a negative in my book. What people call the swamp is just a herd of politicians having government their own way. Trump didn't comply and he became a pariah for his non conformity. Republicans in the swamp (for a better word) hate him as much as Democrats which is another reason for his popularity in conservative rank and file.

Do you really believe Biden is running the show that is being put in place? Did you vote for a candidate or against one? American politics remind me of the Soviets after Krushchev. A bunch of ancient old men (and women here) clinging to what gave them power. Russia had changed and so have we. They were ready to be governed instead of ruled and I believe we are getting more accustomed to being ruled.
